What a beautiful day today! WHY THE HECK AM I INSIDE WORKING!?! Must change this ASAP!

After breakfast, I got my yoga on at Dancing Crow Yoga. I hadn’t taken a yoga class all week, so I had a serious craving for it this morning. My whole body felt tight.

I did a 75-minute Vinyasa class, which ended with me doing my first ever Crow pose”” and it was awesome!! I felt so strong doing it!

During class, we also did a great hip stretch called Fire Log Pose. It stretched everything in my ever-tight legs. I thought I’d pass it along for the runners out there. It hurts so good, baby!

After lunch, I went to buy a new case for my iPhone since I don’t take care of my things and broke mine a few days ago. Actually, I think the case just sucked. I only had it for a couple of months and it broke in three different places.

My new case is bright and colorful (so I can find it in my bottomless purse)!

And within an hour of purchasing my new iPhone case, I dropped it in the driveway of my house. Awesome.

Lunch

For lunch, I stopped by b.good for some French fries. I found a random coupon in my wallet for a free order, so I cashed in it today.

Fact: Free French fries taste better than the ones you pay for.

Lunch also included some Ramen “noodles.”

A cookie from Starbucks and/or an iced coffee from Marylou’s is also on the agenda for this afternoon. It’s Cookie Friday after all!

  1. I drop mine all the time so don’t feel bad :)…My case is all banged and scratched up! I figure better to break the case than the phone so it’s a good investment 😉 Haha!

  2. I’m a big klutz too, but I seem to be having strangely good luck with my iPhone these days!! I love your new case – it’s so spring-y! Congratulations on the crow pose too, that’s a major achievement if you ask me! I’m going to check out the Fire Log Pose because I’ve got super tight legs as well. My favourite one is the pigeon though, because between running and teaching spin, my hip flexors get SO tight!

  3. Thank god you had a case on your iphone! My 6 week old brand new iphone was stolen out of my purse last week. I had to buy a new one….6 weeks later. WHAT an awful ordeal. But it’s my phone, I had to have one and there was no choice really….going back to a blackberry wasnt going to happen 🙂

    1st time I did crow…my world changed.

  4. I feel like I’m strong enough for crow pose, but my hamstrings won’t let me get into position to push off – it’s so frustrating. Yoga is still amazing though. Love it.

  5. I love conquering a pose in yoga! It feels great! I have sensitive knees but the other day I was able to balance on it and stretch it nicely. I suck and don’t know the name of the pose…and can’t find it anywhere either! Sorry!

  6. I have THE world’s tightest hips from running, and I just learned about fire log pose the other week. I love it but am embarrassed that my legs are no where near parallel to the ground. . . pretty sure all I can do if form a 90* angle with my legs!

  7. Where did you get that adorable case?! I’m in the market for a new one myself, I’m a klutz too — dropped mine down my apartment stairs, luckily it was just the case that broke 🙂

    I’m going to have to try that yoga stretch for runners. My legs can get pretty tight too.

  9. Ha, you basically lived my life today! That’s my studio (I’m usually in that class), I have that iPhone case and I love b.good after yoga!

  10. haha I’m bad about dropping my phone as well… and at leaving my phone in places where I can’t find it. My boyfriend claims that my phone and I have a dysfunctional relationship.

  11. I’ve been trying to get into crow! It is HARD! I managed it for about one second last night and I felt so accomplished!

  12. An Otterbox case is a must have for a klutz with an iphone! I’ve dropped mine while running, knocked it off the kitchen counter, and sloshed it through a puddle of water…the Otterbox saved it every time! 🙂

  13. Free food is ALWAYS tastes so amazing! I’m a sucker for coupons and free things. I’m a klutz too, never fear. I actually can’t wear watches anymore because I swing my arms every time I pass through a doorway and crack the watches. Terrible!

  14. This is my fear about getting an iPhone! I drop my Blackberry 10 times a day. It doesn’t look so pretty anymore, but it works like a champ. When Verizon announced it was offering the iPhone, I actually made a deal with myself — I could get one if I proved to myself that I could go ONE day without dropping my BBerry. Almost 3 months later, still waiting!

    I’m glad that there are iPhone cases out there that can take a beating. As long as the phone still works, I’ll be happy (your new case is super cute!).

  15. Wowie that cow pose looks great- I so want to reach that level soon! Is it bad that the part about dropping your phone made me laugh ;)! We all have an inner clutz that’s dying to be released!

  16. Ah, I hate when things like that happen–you get something brand new and poof–something happens to it before you can enjoy it. Usually for me, I’ll spill on a brand new shirt the first day that I wear it. Oh well, life goes on!
