Hey, hey! Happy Thursday!

This week is really flying by for me. Anyone else? Maybe it’s just because we’re off to Newport this weekend, which is one of our favorite weekends of the year. We’ve actually had a countdown going all week with Quinn because the place we stay every year has a heated indoor pool, and he is BEYOND pumped to swim in it. The kid lovvveeesss swimming. I actually just signed him up for swim lessons starting next week, so we’re really glad he’s still all about the water. Anyway… it’s time for this week’s What I’m Loving Lately. I have a fun round-up for you this morning, and I hope you enjoy it! 🙂

Drink More Water Bottle – How adorable is this (glass) water bottle?! It’s such a great tool for encouraging you to drink more water!

Keds Studio Dash – I received a few questions about the shoes that I wore to the corn maze over the weekend, and they’re one of my favorites from Keds. They’re the Studio Dash, and I wear them ALL the time! They’re super lightweight, comfy, and slip right on. And, bonus, they’re on sale right now for just $39!

Alo ‘Haze’ Funnel Neck Sweatshirt – Another oldie, but goodie for fall! I lovvvee this funnel neck sweatshirt so much. It’s still available at Nordstrom – with free shipping! And… another one of my favorite tops from J.Crew is on sale as well. Get 40% off with code BIGSALE!

Overnight Resurfacing Peel – I finally purchased this Overnight Resurfacing Peel to try, and it’s everything I expected and more! It really does make your skin so soft and GLOW in the morning! It’s made with 15 botanically-derived acids that help to improve the texture of your skin while minimizing the appearance of pores, fine lines, and dark spots without irritation or over-drying. And it’s safer because it’s not made without any synthetic fragrances, PEGs, and formaldehyde-based preservatives commonly found in peels. I’m a HUGE fan and give this product an A+!!!

Nikki’s Pumpkin Spice Donut Coconut Butter – Guys, this stuff is incredible. It’s truly one of my favorite treats this time of year. It’s so good on toast, rice cakes, mixed with mashed banana, and straight from the jar. If you haven’t tried Nikki’s yet, you absolutely need to! It’s a seriously delicious way to get some healthy fats into your diet! 🙂

Trader Joe’s Carrot Cake Spread – Do I even need to explain why this made the list? I love when Trader Joe’s puts out their new fall products, and I am so excited to try this one. It’s basically a marmalade with all of the amazing taste of carrot cake. Holy yum! I imagine many pieces of toast and rice cakes topped with this deliciousness – maybe I’ll even add some whipped cream cheese?!

Meal Timing and Weight Loss, Does It Matter? – This topic comes up a LOT with CNC Macro clients, so it was interesting to read it’s conclusion. Basically, eat a bigger, balanced breakfast and a little lighter at night, which is actually the way I naturally eat! 🙂 The article is definitely worth a read if this topic peaks your curiosity!

Baking mixes + frosting from Simple Mills – The nice people from Simple Mills sent me some of their mixes and frosting to try, and they are so darn delicious – as well as gluten-free (made from almond flour) and free from weirdo ingredients and trans fats. Quinn and I used the Pumpkin Muffin & Bread Mix to make cupcakes and topped them with organic vanilla frosting for a party at my Grammie’s house over the weekend. They were a HUGE hit with my family. I mean, look how cute they turned out! Quinn’s idea for “spooky cupcakes” was so awesome! 🙂

Levi’s Rain Jacket – I am so in love with this rain jacket and just need to buy it already, right?! It comes in 5 different colors, and I can’t decide which one to choose. Olive? Navy? Wine? Black? I’m still so undecided!

Pumpkin Spice RXBARS – I’m a bit of a sucker for all of the pumpkin hype, and the Pumpkin Spice RXBARS are no exception. I love the short ingredient list, convenience factor (just grab and go!), and the pumpkin spice flavor is out of this world! If you haven’t tried them yet, make sure you make it a TO DO sooner than later!

  1. When is the macro challenge , I signed up but haven’t gotten an email?
We are off to Newport this weekend too, weather going to be beautiful, have fun

  2. Hi! I’m very intrigued by the Ultimate Detox, is it something you do once or do you continue all year with additional detox programs – it looks like they have levels to progress with.

    1. It depends on how much of a detox you need. I did 2 systems back-to-back and bought a third just in case I need it. There are different levels too, so you’re suppose to start out with a mild detox and then move your way up. I’ve been okay with just one dose a day and the bottle lasts for about 6 weeks. Sorry that’s not a straight answer, but you can always start out slowly to see if you see results right away. I was told that it can take up to 3 months to see results, but I felt better within a couple of weeks!

  3. You’ll be in my hood this weekend! My husband and I had our honeymoon at Castle Hill..in a little beach cabin. I’m dying to go back someday. Have fun!

  4. On my way to the Topsfield Fair with my dad which we do every year. We are ready to watch the double figure 8 car race (kind of a demolition style race, hitting is allowed) and eat fair food.

  5. Not sure of weekend plans. I have that raincoat in olive — love it. It is kind of heavy so perfect for a cool fall (oh and rainy day). Love the look — I think the material makes it look more expensive and different from the usual jacket.

  6. TJ’s always comes through with the seasonal food items. I just did my weekly grocery shopping there on Tuesday, but I think a weekend trip for all things SEASONAL is in order. Who needs budgeting?? Who needs to watch frivolous spending?! NOT ME! lololol help. – Kaitlyn
