My banana costume got a lot of use yesterday! First at CrossFit for a special Halloween WOD. (Burpees in a banana costume are a lot of fun!)
Of course, Kerrie had the exact same costume! Banana buddies.
And then I wore my banana costume to Chipotle to get $3 Booritos with Mal Macklemore. The place was totally bumping last night, but our burritos we’re well worth the wait. Chipotle makes a really good burrito!
Other scenes from the day”¦
Bentley cuteness.
He’s already so much bigger and when he walks, he does this adorable, little butt wiggle. It’s so cute. I die.
Shopping at Reebok HQ.
The Reebok store at the headquarters in Canton sells everything at 50% off (for employees and friends and family of employees). It’s a fabulous deal, so Kerrie and I went after CrossFit yesterday to cash in our gift certificates from the Reebok focus groups that we recently participated in.
I ended up buying a Reebok ONE Graphic Tee (the yellow shirt on the right, but in purple) and a Reebok CrossFit Womens Tri-Blend Long Sleeve Tee in blue blink because you just can’t have enough of these shirts. They’re so comfy! I spent the rest of my gift certificate on Mal and bought him some Reebok ONE Woven Pants (they remind me of Lululemon pants), a Reebok ONE 1/4 Zip, and a super soft CrossFit t-shirt, but I don’t see it on the website. All in all, it was a successful shopping trip!
A really delicious lunch.
Yesterday’s lunch was spaghetti squash, leftover ground beef, and peas mixed with a couple of white cheddar Laughing Cow wedges. It was sort of like my Cheesy Spaghetti Squash Bake minus the breadcrumbs and spices. Yum!
We didn’t run out of Halloween candy.
I bought three huge bags of Halloween candy this year””210 pieces in total””and it was the first year we didn’t run out of candy. Hooray! Our neighborhood was actually quieter than usual because of the rainy weather, but we still had a lot of trick-or-treaters!
Murphy still hates Halloween.
Poor pug. He’s just not a fan of the holiday. I think his face says it all.
Mal disconnected our doorbell and the two of us sat on our front porch while we left Murphy inside while we took turns giving out candy to trick-or-treaters. We thought this would keep Murphy calm, but it did not.
The pug was still totally freaked out.
At least there’s another 364 days until Murphy has to deal with Halloween again!
