Good morning!
So, I watched a lot of TV last night. First, I watched an DVR-ed episode of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and then I watched The Bachelor. Basically, I spent most of my evening sitting on the couch.
As always, Jimmy Fallon totally and utterly entertained me. He had Chris Pratt on the show talking about The Lego Movie.
And then the two of them played Bubble Soccer with Colin Farrell and Frank Knuckles of the Roots and, OMG, it was HILARIOUS. It was even funnier knowing that Jimmy was claustrophobic inside the ball! Haha!
After that, I watched last night’s episode of The Bachelor. Everyone went to New Zealand and rode in some OGO, which were big plastic balls with a little bit of water inside them, so you slip all around as you roll down a hill. It looked insanely fun.
I was seriously cracking up over the Bubble Soccer and OGO, so I thought they’d make for some fun questions on CNC. Feel free to answer below!
Workout
Last night, I went to CrossFit for a workout. The WOD was broken into two parts:
AMRAP 10:
110 Meter Shuttle Sprint
12 Power Cleans (115, 75)
9 ThrustersRest 5 minutes, then
3 rounds for time:
7 Power Cleans (75, 55)
7 Burpees
I used 55 pounds for both workouts and did Squat Thrusts in place of the Burpees on the second one. I finished 4 rounds for the first workout and finished the second workout in 1:48.
On the Power Cleans, I noticed that the bar was getting pretty close to my belly, so I think this might be my last week using the bar. We’ll see. I know once I say goodbye, I won’t pick up a bar until sometime this summer once Baby Haupert is here. But, of course, I don’t want to work out with bad form or smack my belly with a barbell! (FYI: Moving forward, I’ll use dumbbells for Cleans, Snatches, Thrusters, etc.)
Dinner
Last night’s dinner was definitely a winner! I actually had Artichoke Lemon Pesto Chicken Pasta planned, but the chicken breasts that I took out of the freezer the night before still weren’t thawed, so I went with a Meatless Monday recipe instead. Recipe coming soon!
