Good morning! Happy, happy Monday to you!

I’m feeling quite rejuvenated (and motivated!) after a wonderful weekend away at Canyon Ranch!

But, not surprisingly, I missed my little peanut so, so, soooo much. Mal sent me photos and updates all weekend long, which helped me feel quite a bit better. He’s the best. Super Dad!

cute

And I only cried once, ok, twice, this weekend. The first time was right before I was about to leave for Canyon Ranch. I picked up Quinn, gave him a big hug to say goodbye, and the waterworks just started””big, old wet tears streaming down my face. The second time was when I got home on Sunday afternoon. I was just so happy to see the little guy, I cried tears of joy. It’s crazy how intense the feelings are when you have a child. It’s nothing like I have ever experienced before.

In the end, I had an amazing weekend at Canyon Ranch. There was a nice mix of rest and relaxation, along with activity, exercise, and plenty of good, healthy eating. I can’t wait to tell you guys all about it! Recap coming soon!

Grab your phone and tell me: What was the last photo message you received and who was it from?

Mine was from Mal and it was an image of Massachusetts with an estimated snowfall for the coming blizzard we are getting. Eek!

What a creative question! The last photo message I got was from my friend, who’s a vet tech, showing me a screenshot of her hitting 15,000 steps on her Fitbit just from being at work. Pretty impressive! 🙂

  2. Mine was from my SIL who is home with my 9 month old twins while I’m at work. It was a picture of one of the girls in happy baby pose with the message “Doing yoga, Mom!”

  3. The last photo message I received was a picture of my new nephew born this morning at 4:42AM — from my mom!!! 🙂

  4. The last photo message I got was of my friend’s “wild” stray cat who had somehow managed to get into her house & curled up in a ball on her bed. The rainy, cold weather turned her into a docile feline! It didn’t last long, though. :/

  5. Stay warm and safe during the storm! Thank goodness it didn’t happen last week when we were in town for the Conor McGregor fight! It would have been a nasty trip home!

  6. The last photo message I got was from my fiance and he sent me the photo of me in front of the elephant exhibit at the Nashville Zoo. I took it during the Nashville Zoo Run Run–totally fun! I’m glad you had a great weekend and glad you’re reunited with your little! Those moments are the best!

  7. Oh I am so glad that you had a good time!! For some reason I think I thought your hubby was going with you ha! Oops!! The last picture message I was sent was from my sister. It was an invite to her Super Bowl party!! I can’t wait!!

  8. My last photo text was from my niece who was trying to destress me so she sent me an awesome Elsa/van gogh combo pic that says “let it gogh”

  9. It was fate that I read this post right now! I’m having a rough day! On day 7 of a crazy, fever inducing virus! I thought my last picture text was of a beautiful Arizona sunset. Add i was going to look at the pic for a pick me up, I forgot my husband sent me a video of my two year old. He starts to sing happy birthday to you, but daddy reminds him of what he’s supposed to say and then he enthusiastically says “I love you so much!” Instant tears. Just what I needed! Thank you for your post! I needed that! And yeah for super dads!!

  10. My last photo message was from my brother. It was of his computer and some sort of Facetime session he had going with grad school classmates. It did not look like fun!

  11. The last photo message I got was from my brother: it said “They say you are what eat … but I don’t remember eating a freaking legend.”
