It’s 67 degrees outside! I love it!! With this type of weather, I just had to run!

I’m running a half marathon on Sunday, so I only ran 4 miles, but I pushed myself to stay at 9-minute miles, which was tough. Running is not easy. At times, I was dying out there, but it was still fun to run outside in the sunshine. It’s been awhile, ya know?

Here was my first attempt to snap a photo of my Garmin:

I guess Murphy was really excited to see me when I returned home from my run?

Then, the pug gave me tons and tons of kisses. I must have tasted deliciously salty after my run because the licking didn’t stop!

Lunch

Lunch was kind of random today, but it worked for me in the end. I had some leftover roasted brussels sprouts, almonds, fresh blueberries, and a container of peach Stonyfield yogurt. Random, yet tasty and satisfying.

After lunch, I finished off the Oatmeal Almond Butter Cookies and enjoyed an Almond Cookie iced coffee from Marylou’s. Apparently, almond is the food of the day.

Tonight, I have a double-date at a new restaurant in Boston. I feel like I haven’t been out to dinner in the city in ages, so I’m really looking forward to it!

Happy Friday!

  1. Have fun on your double date!!!!!!!!

And enjoy that beautiful weather! It sounds like even though your run was a little harder than you would have wished, the weather was perfect and put a little spring in your step. Love it when that happens 🙂

    Enjoy your weekend, Tina!
    🙂

  2. Great run and it definitely looks like Murphy was so happy to see you!
Also, you were part of the inspiration for my post today. I borrowed a picture from your site because I didn’t see anything in the FAQ’s saying that’s not allowed, so I hope that’s okay. It’s a photo of you and I linked it back to your page. Thanks!

  3. SO jealous of your nice weather! We had another couple inches of snow again yesterday in Anchorage, so spring is not coming anytime soon. But that feeling of “having” to run is amazing!!

I always have random lunches–a little of this, a little of that.
