Hi, guys! I hope you had a very HAPPY HALLOWEEN! Our was one for the books and SUCH A GREAT TIME! (Holy CAPS in that first line, but it really was an awesome time!)

Quinn was on the fence about who he wanted to be for Halloween – either Catboy or Gekko, both from PJ Masks. He ultimately started the day as Catboy and wore his costume to school. The Catboy costume was quite a bit cooler since it was a full-on, head-to-toe number versus just a mask and cape for Gekko. Quinn ended up changing midway through the day to Gekko and wore that costume for trick-or-treating. He was Catboy last year for Halloween, so maybe he didn’t want to repeat the costume for the main event? I guess it’s good to have options, right? 🙂

We ended up hosting a little get together at our house before heading out to trick-or-treat. We have quite the awesome neighborhood for it, so it’s become a bit of a tradition among our friends that live locally.

It was kind of chaotic at our house with 9 adults and 7 very excited kids + costumes, who were more than ready to trick-or-treat, so I didn’t snap a ton of photos. I did, however, get one of Murphy in his costume… and we all know how much he lovvvveeess Halloween. Haha!

We ordered pizza and enjoyed some adult beverages before heading out – well, the adults enjoyed adult beverages. The kids had milk and juice boxes. (Just wanted to clarify for the Internet!)

Before we knew it, it was dark outside and time to get our trick-or-treat on!

Quinn had the best time, and I can’t even tell you how excited he got at each house. It was so darn cute. His favorite “treat” of the night was a mini Ninja Turtle puzzle from the “treasure chest house” on our street. The family gives out little toys instead of candy, and the kids and adults look forward to it! 🙂 Quinn was also really into the toothbrush that he received – we also have that house on our street!

But I think the best part of the whole night was trick-or-treating with his best friend Blake. These two have been buds since they were babies and just have so much fun together. They spent a good portion of the night holding hands as they walked to different houses!
