I had a really nice time at the rehearsal dinner tonight. It was wonderful celebrating Greg, my brother-in-law, and his wife-to-be, Jen. They’re such a great couple.
Our evening, started with a limo ride into Boston– and, of course, we were well-prepared for the trip with lots of champagne! 😉
M & T.
Greg was psyched for the limo ride! 😀
Bubbly!
The bride and groom!
Cheers to Greg and Jen!!!
The rehearsal dinner was held at the Harvard Club of Boston.
The downtown Harvard Club had the most amazing views of the city!
Before dinner, we enjoyed a cocktail hour with drinks and passed appetizers.
I ate 3 or 4 passed apps.
I also enjoyed a vodka dirty martini. (I’m on serious DM kick lately, huh?)
Maid of honor + bride.
Handsome.
Guy talk.
Best man.
After about an hour, it was time to sit down to a lovely 4-course dinner.
But, first Mal’s dad and Greg’s mom said a few words and we toasted to Greg and Jen.
Before the first course was served, I enjoyed a yummy raisin-walnut roll.
The first course was a creamy squash soup with a strong apple cider flavor to it. It was delish!
And, then we had a spinach salad with tomatoes, red onion, and a ring of bacon on top.
The main course was grilled salmon with asparagus and fingerling potatoes.
Dessert was a cool, key lime custard with coconut and fresh berries. Mmm!
I left dinner pretty full, but it was definitely worth the splurge.
Heading to bed. Good night!
