Glorious Muffins

It was the perfect morning to sleep late and lounge around. It’s been raining pretty hard all morning, so Mal and I weren’t in any rush to get going.

Around 10:00 AM, our stomachs finally started to grumble, so we headed to the Ocean Breeze Cafe for breakfast.

The menu at the Ocean Breeze Cafe is pretty extensive. They serve a range of traditional breakfast items as well as the most glorious muffins! 😀

There are so many yummy flavors to chose from! It’s always a tough decision for me.

I seriously wait all year long for an Ocean Breeze Cafe muffin. It’s actually one of the highlights of my trip to Newport! 😉

Not surprisingly, I picked the exact same muffin as I did last year: Pumpkin Chocolate Chip. 😀

Holy yum! The muffin was practically as big as my head!

On the side, I had a fresh fruit cup with strawberries, blueberries, and cantaloupe.

And pumpkin spice coffee with cream and sugar.

I dominated the muffin! I barely left a crumb!

Mal and I are spending the next hour or so doing work (blah), but then we are headed to the Taste of Rhode Island for lunch. I’m looking forward to it!
