#getafterit: Sunday Style (& a Giveaway)

I'm Tina

I’m the owner of Carrots ‘N’ Cake as well as a Certified Nutrition Coach and Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner (FDN-P). I use macros and functional nutrition to help women find balance within their diets while achieving their body composition goals.


An in-depth, 4-week reverse dieting course for women who feel like their metabolism has slowed down, think they might have hormonal imbalance and can’t lose weight no matter what they do.

Sundays are my go-to tool for keeping me on track with healthy eating and exercise. While I love using exercise mantras and self-talk to motivate me, taking some time on Sunday to organize my life is the best and most effective way to keep me on track.

Here’s my little checklist for Sunday:

My Sunday checklist keeps me accountable and motivates me stick to my healthy habits. When all of these things are ready and set to go, it’s tough for me to make excuses for why I can’t eat well or fit in a workout during the week. Basically, crossing these items off my list on Sunday helps me “get after it” all week long.

With that said, I have a fun giveaway for you guys to motivate you too to “get after it” this week. My friends at Reebok sent me one of their #getafterit t-shirts along with 4 other t-shirts to giveaway on CNC.


How cool is this shirt? It says @Reebok” on the front with the “#getafterit” hashtag on the back. It’s lightweight and soft with a slim, extra long, and flattering ladies-style fit.

  2. This weekend I am racing at the biggest rowing regatta in the world (Head of the Charles in Boston) and am only a junior in high school and am getting ready for that with good fuel, nutrition and exercise 🙂

  7. I plan to get after it this week by continuing to train for the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 1/2 marathon in December! Will be my 5th time running it and it gets better every time.

  10. I started tracking my food this week, it seems to help me with portion control and on Saturday, my GS Ginger and I, along with some neighbors and their dogs, are doing a relay walk called “Bark for Life” to benefit cancer research. I would love a “getafterit” T in medium 😉

  11. I plan to “get after it” this week by getting outside to enjoy our beautiful fall weather and get after those leaves falling in my yard.

  12. I plan on getting fit this week by resuming my running & CrossFit training & adding in some bikram yoga & biking on my trainer. Also I started a 3 week nutrition plan to kick start myself in the right direction.

I plan on finishing off my Tough Mudder Training STRONG, started the week off with a WET Run Voluntarily I may add at local beach in water that was contaminated with sewage 24 hours prior so that I can FINISH STRONG in freezing cold water and temps below 32 degrees in Stamford, CT – I would love a “getafterit” T in large please – Thanks Tina
