YUM!
Last night’s dinner was so EASY and DELICIOUS, it deserves its own post. It was as simple as brushing on a garlic and mustard mixture and putting the chicken in the oven, and it turned out so well!

Ingredients
Scale
10 chicken drumsticks (approximately 3 pounds)
4 tbsp butter
2 tbsp grainy mustard
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp sea salt
1/8 tsp pepper
Instructions
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
Place chicken on a baking tray.
Melt butter (I used the microwave) in a small bowl and then add mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
Brush mixture onto chicken.
Bake for 45-50 minutes or until chicken is cooked all the way through.
Voila! Delicious chicken with minimal effort. It’s as easy as that and tastes amazing!
ENJOY!

I have acid reflux and I haven’t eaten mustard in YEARS (i used to drink mustard!) That being said, I am willing to give myself some heartburn for this.
Wow! We’ll have to try this on some fish soon!

How do you think this would taste with boneless skinless breasts? And same cooking time/temperature? We are a white meat family, but this looks so good!

Do you think that this marinade could be used with tofu? It sounds so good, but I do not eat meat! I might have to give it a try.
I think it might work! š
Tina – how do you think the mustard/garlic combo would work spread on chicken breasts as opposed to the drumsticks? Looks great – I’m just not a drumstick eater.
@Danielle: I think it’d be great! š
@Danielle:
Can you recommend a mustard ? I only use yellow mustard and grey poupon mustard so I have no idea when it comes to grainy mustards but this sounds really good!!
I think any grainy mustard would work. I bought a brand called Bookbinders.
Just whipped this up and it’s in the oven right now. Smells so good!! Pairing it with brown rice and steamed green beans. Thanks for the inspiration Tina š
Sticking my chicken in the oven now! We are using chicken thighs since that’s all we had. And I cook dark meat at 375 for 1:30hrs but I’m sure it’s gonna be delish!!! Thanks for posting this recipe!
