Hi friends, happy Friday!
It’s time for another round of The Friday 5! Today I’m sharing our new holiday pajamas (yep, the whole family has them!), a couple of beverages I’m loving, the lash product I swear by, plus a fun family game. I’m also sharing a bit more about the recent chemical peel facial I got, so tune into the video if you’re curious about that.
You can watch or read The Friday 5 below – have a wonderful weekend!

In previous years, we’ve wanted to get matching holiday pajamas but have always waited too late in the season to get them. We did find Quinn some ninja gingerbread pajamas last year and he loved them so much. The nice people at Shinesty reached out and asked if we’d like matching ninja pajamas for the whole family… of course we did! We even got Murphy a matching dog handkerchief! 🙂 We wore them for our family Christmas card photo (on the couch with the self-timer — how fancy!), and now our Christmas cards are already done. The pajamas run a little big (so you may want to size down), but they’re so soft and cozy. We all love them!
I’ve always loved the look of long lashes and would love to get fake lashes, but can’t justify the price and time it takes to get them done. Good thing is that this Rodan & Fields lash serum is amazing and really helps your lashes grow. This is my fourth tube, and I definitely notice a difference when I use it versus when I’m not. It’s kind of pricey (around $150/tube), but worth it in my opinion – a tube lasts a few months. I’m not a R&F consultant, but my friend is – I’ve included her link in case you’d like to check it out.
We bought this game during the height of coronavirus, and we still play it almost every other night. (It kinds of reminds me of Uno.) It’s a silly game (I mean it’s called Exploding Kittens after all), and is perfect for a 6 year old. It would make for a great Christmas gift, too!
4. Loco Coffee
I don’t drink caffeine often at all, but I do like it for special occasions. If I do have caffeine, I really like this Loco Coffee – it’s made with coconut or maple water, so it’s not as concentrated as regular cold brew. You can drink it straight from the can, but I often mix with Teechino or decaf coffee. This company is local to Boston – you can find at WholeFoods or from the Loco Coffee website. It’s delicious!
As an avid coffee drinker, I’m pretty particular about tea. If I’m being honest, most of the time tea is underwhelming to me. Since I love strong coffee, lots of teas taste watery to me. I recently sampled this David’s Lavender Buttercream Tea and immediately fell in love. The combination of these flavors is unique and so delicious. This is a loose leaf tea – I make it hot or serve over ice, mmmm!
