Hi, friends!

Just popping in to share some photos from our morning… well, our second morning of the day. Quinn first woke up at 3:00 AM and would not go back to sleep. Mal and I tried everything to calm him down with no luck. I finally ended up taking him for a drive at 5:45 AM. Thank goodness the drive-thru Starbucks was open!

Anyway, we started our day again with a walk around Forge Pond Park with a friend and her 13-month old nephew.

It was my first time at Forge Pond Park, and I really loved it. There’s tons of space to run, walk dogs, play… we’ll definitely visit again!

We walked for about 45 minutes and then let the little guys stretch their legs and run around.

After enjoying the beautiful weather outside, we headed to The Juice Barn for smoothies and juice. It was also my first time there, and I really loved it.

The Juice Barn offers a ton of delicious and nutritious fresh juices, smoothies, (juice) shots, and snacks as well as all sorts of healthy products and supplements. It was also super kid-friendly, which was great for us since we had two active boys on our hands!

I ordered the Muscle Milk smoothie, which was banana, spinach, cocoa powder, protein powder, and almond milk. I also got a turmeric shot, which was made with turmeric, orange juice, and cayenne. Both were excellent.

Quinn had a Sunrise juice, which was carrot, mango, orange, and strawberry. He was a big fan!

I’m so glad our day improved after a rough start. I’m also really enjoying discovering new places in our area! If you’re local, I’d love to hear your favorite spots!
