I recently had the opportunity to try FitnessGlo through a partnership with FitFluential. (Disclaimer: This is a sponsored post, but the opinions expressed are all my own.) I recently took three weeks off from CrossFit (a little experiment to see if the high intensity workouts were affecting my UC symptoms – there was no connection, things actually got worse), so having these workouts literally at my fingertips was the perfect opportunity for me to try something new and stay active.

FitnessGlo is a website that features all kinds of exercise videos in a variety of styles, levels, and durations. You can even pick the instructor. I really loved the variety of workouts, which made it easy to select one based on how I was feeling that day (i.e. Strength verses Stretch).

I also really loved how straightforward it was to pick a workout. I know similar programs like this can be a little complicated with all sort of options, but FitnessGlo has a great search option that allows you to quickly select your workout based on specific criteria/preferences, so you can easily find a workout and just do it. For example, if you’re looking for a strength class, you can further refine your search based on teacher, level, and duration.

Basically, you can drill down your search to something as specific as a 10-minute, upper body, Level 3 (Good to Glo) workout with Ilyse Baker, which is great if you’re short on time or want a specific workout to compliment your other fitness activities for the week or day, say if you’re a runner and want some strength training or a CrossFitter and want to do some mobility (stretching) work.

Since I started my membership with FitnessGlo, I’ve done a bunch of workouts with Ilyse Baker. I took a dance class with her at Reebok during a blogger trip last year and really enjoyed her teaching style. She’s enthusiastic and motivating, but not over the top. Some of my favorite class with her: Strength Upper Body (10 minutes, Level 2), Strength Lower Body (10 minutes, Level 2), and Barre Blast – Total Body Sculpt (30 minutes, Level 3). You will definitely feel the burn on all three of those workouts! I also really liked the workouts with Amy Dixon. A couple of favorites: BOSU Interval Challenge, 45 minutes, Level 3 and All Over Sculpt, 20 minutes, Level 3.

As you can see, I’m really enjoying my membership with FitnessGlo. If you’re looking for a quick and easy way to compliment your current routine or just prefer working out at home, FitnessGlo is a fantastic option, especially for the price.   32. After years of running, I think I have become burnt out. I just feel no energy or desire to run. Plus, I really want to switch things up and build my upper body strength. I feel so much better only running a few days a week and alternating pilates, barre, and cycling workouts! I would loveeeeeeee something like this that is so convenient and easily accessible. 🙂
