Wahoo! It’s Friday!
I have a really fun weekend planned– which starts with seeing my two favorite guys!
Long story short: We can’t have dogs in our current apartment, so Mal has been living with his parents (about an hour away) for the past week. It’s a pain in the butt, but we’ll be moving into our new place (in Southie!) soon enough. Mal had a softball game on Monday night, so we got to hang out for a little bit, but I haven’t seen my hubby and puggy since then. I can’t wait to hang out with them tonight! I miss my boys!
Malapolooza is also this weekend, which I’m sure will be a blast! 😎
Breakfast
There was all sorts of fresh produce that needed to be eaten before I left for the weekend, so I threw it all together into a banana-cantaloupe-broccoli smoothie.
I also added a packet of Vega Complete Whole Food Health Optimizer and some vanilla soy milk to the smoothie.
I rounded out breakfast with a piece of toast with Barney Butter spread on top.
I’m also taking an iced coffee to go. It’s Friday and I need the pick-me-up! 😉

Believe it or not, I have actually never tried broccoli in a smoothie. Odd considering my love of both broccoli and smoothies. Anyway, my favorite combination is mango with vanilla spice hemp protein and soymilk with a little granola on top. Yum!
