Are you struggling with excess estrogen and weight loss? If so, you are not alone. It’s quite common in women in their 30s and 40s. It’s true, excess estrogen might be preventing you from losing weight.
How do you know if you’re struggling with excess estrogen?
Excess estrogen and weight loss
‘Estrogen Dominance’ is a type of hormonal imbalance where the body has too much estrogen in relation to progesterone.
Here are some symptoms of Estrogen Dominance:
- Irregular periods
- Heavy periods
- Weight gain, especially in mid-section, hips, and thighs
- Sore, painful breasts
- Depression, irritability, anxiety, fatigue
- Thyroid issues
- Low libido (low sex drive)
- Fibroids or endometriosis
Does this sound like you? If so, you are not alone. In fact, Estrogen Dominance is one of the most common issues I see with the women we work with. It’s also a main reason for fat loss resistance.
