Eating below your energy needs is so common among women (thanks, diet culture) and oftentimes it prevents them from getting the results they want. In fact, chronically under-eating can lead to hormone imbalance, metabolism issues, and thyroid problems, all of which can actually cause weight gain.

After that, Renee spent 6 months in maintenance before embarking on an 8-week cut. Yes, that’s right, we spent 9 months working to improve her metabolism before even thinking about a ‘diet.’
