Out of all of the recipes on Carrots ‘N’ Cake, protein balls continue to be one of the most popular. I personally whip up a batch almost every week. Obviously, I love them, but they’re also a great way to get some protein and healthy fats into our picky eater. Quinn will eat just about any protein ball recipe that I make, but I love that he refers to all of them (even if they don’t have peanut butter in them) as “Peanut Butter Protein Balls,” which just happen to be my personal favorite.

At the end of the day. I really love having a sweet treat with a punch of protein to end the evening or as a quick snack on-the-go. Protein balls also tend to keep me out of the proverbial “cookie jar” by choosing something that’s a little more balanced nutritionally. I’ve enjoyed creating so many variations over the years that I thought I’d share a recipe round-up with my favorite of favorite protein ball recipes. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!
