This content was fun to create: Drink This/Not That Starbucks Holiday Coffee! Oh yes, this is one of my favorite topics to discuss!
If you love Starbucks, but don’t love all of the calories and sugar in their holiday beverages, be sure to watch my most recent YouTube video and save this blog post for later to reference. It’ll be helpful when you are debating a Drink This/Not That Starbucks Holiday Coffee situation!
Drink This/Not That Starbucks Holiday Coffee Edition
Pumpkin Spice Latte > Pumpkin Spice Cappuccino OR Pumpkin Spice Misto
Ask for a cappuccino or misto with two pumps of pumpkin spice syrup. The foam in a cappuccino has less calories than the whipped cream + two pumps of syrup are less than the usual four in the latte.
Caramel Brulee Latte > Iced or hot americano with two pumps of Caramel Brulee syrup
Ask for a grande Americano with one or two pumps of Caramel Brulee syrup. You can leave it black and then take it to the milk bar and add just a splash of cream or milk, or at the bar ask the barista to do it.
If you want to make it fancy, ask for some foam on top, and a barista will often do that.
Iced Sugar Cookie Latte > Iced Sugar Cookie Latte w/ half syrup and no cream
This one is right off the menu; if you’re getting a grande, it’s 140 calories. If you want to make it really low-calorie, you can ask for it to be made with half the amount of syrup or one pump of syrup. Ask for it black and then go to the milk bar and just add a little splash of half and half.
Peppermint Mocha > Americano w/ one pump of mocha + one pump of peppermint syrup
You can ask for it without whipped cream, or you could ask for light whipped cream. Another option is to ask for the foam; ask for steamed milk with a little foam. You could also add the holiday sprinkles on top or some cocoa powder.
