Mal and I had the same thing on our minds tonight: dinner out! Neither of us wanted to cook or go grocery shopping, so we decided to take advantage of the Happy Hour deal at Abby Park instead. We love the laid-back atmosphere of the restaurant, so we figured why not? We’ve been known to hang out at the bar for hours and hours as seen here andĀ here.
From the bar menu at Abby Park, I ordered theĀ Dip Trio, which came with Chickpea & Lemon Hummus and Olive & Sun-Dried Tomato Tapenade and served with crispy flatbread, cucumber slices, and celery sticks.
Apparently, the White Bean & Rosemary Dip that originally completed the Dip Trio went MIA. Bummer. š
I also ate one of Mal’sĀ Marinated Steak Tips. My goodness, they are amazing!!
I also enjoyed a glass of Chardonnay with dinner.
When we got home, my husband requested that I make another batch of Apple Crisp,Ā andĀ I was more than happy to ablige! š I’m tellin’ ya, it’s the easiest recipe ever!
While I threw together the Apple Crisp, M & m hung out on the couch with Big Bone, which is Murphy’s favorite toy ever. Thanks, VG!
I’m heading to bed in a few minutes. I’m off on another adventure bright and early tomorrow. It involves hanging with one of my favorite blog buddies!

You keep tempting me with that apple crisp! I may need to whip some up this weekend š It would be fantastic topped with a scoop of edy’s apple pie ice cream!
My dog had the same bone as Murphy! But my guy destroyed it š Too bad cuz he loved it, but he can’t keep plush toys for too long, LOL

Oh, Murphy. I love that pick with Big Bone. Ha ha ha.
i love steak tips, but those look completely amazing. i’ve never seen them with so much caramelization before!
I love the picture with Murphy. That is exactly what Leo and Peanut did to us because we left them with my mom for two days while at a conference. I think they thought we were never coming home…poor babies.
Have a great time on your adventure! I can’t wait to hear about it š
that looks so good! glad you grabbed a steak tip, though, because dip may not have been filling enough.
not a whole lot is cuter than a small dog with a big toy!
I’m a fan of Murphy BTW. He is so cute.
