Here’s your daily dose of Murphy!
Isn’t that face so adorable?!? Murph definitely has his good looks going for him, but he’s also a really smart and well-behaved pup. (Well,Ā he’s well-behaved about 80% of the time! ;-)) Pugs are just good dogs, and I’d highly recommend them to everyone. I think everyone should have a pug in their life!! (I know. I have pug problems.)
Snack
I had a lunchtime meeting at Gordon’s, so I grabbed a couple of snacks to take with me on the road. On the way there, I ate a Vega Whole Food Vibrancy bar, and on the way home, I munched on a Gala apple.
Lunch
When I got home from my meeting, I whipped up a Green Monster with banana, oats, vanilla Siggi’s, vanilla hemp milk, chocolate protein powder, and ice.
What do you think of my Pabst Blue Ribbon glass? What can I say, I’m classy! š
So, what makes my Green Monster green? Well, it’s spirulina, a dietary supplement that is packed with protein, essential fatty acids, tons of vitamins, including vitamins B12, C, and D, as well as a whole slew of minerals (potassium, calcium, chromium, copper, iron, magnesium, manganese, phosphorus, selenium, sodium, and zinc). It’s pretty bad-ass, huh? Spirulina is an awesome addition to a smoothie because you get all of this good stuff in your diet with one small scoop. (You can also mix the powder with water and juice.)
You can buy organic spirulina powder in my shop. (If you’re looking for a vintage PBR glass, I’d recommend a yard sale or flee market! š )
Hotel Recommendations
Ok, this might sound sort of weird, but I am looking for Boston hotel recommendations. I want to put together a page on Carrots ‘N’ Cake for people visiting Boston. So, if you’ve stayed at a hotel in Boston in the last few years, feel free to send along your recommendation. I would totally appreciate it!
