Good morning! Yay for Friday! And a long weekend! π
Murphy stayed up way past his bed time last night. He looks soooo tired in this picture! He did not want to leave the couch for his crate. Poor guy!
Mal and Murph are passed out in bed right now. They’re seriously so cute! Murphy is sound asleep on Mal’s arm just snoring away!
Both of them have the day off today. Lucky ducks!
Breakfast
This morning was perfect for a warm, comforting bowl of oats. It seems like fall has arrived already.Β
In the mix:
- 1/2 cup oats
- 1 cup water
- 1 banana
- Raisins
- 2 scoops of Teddie peanut butter
Breakfast also included iced coffee with chocolate soy milk.
Cookie Friday
Don’t forget that it’s Cooke Friday today!
Here’s a little inspiration from a reader!

Awe…what a cutie pie, I love pugs!!!!
Best Birthday was my 30th(I know, I’m old). It was in downtown San Antonio. 30 of my best buds and lots of craziness>:)
Good times~

Any birthday in college was pretty amazing because it felt like it was spread out over a week instead of just one day! My birthday always fell during finals period so while my actual day was low-key the weekends were fabulous!
I don’t like to be the center of attention, so I like organize birthday parties for others than for me. A small intimate party, with close friends and family, a nice meal, some good talk is just perfect! π
Happy Friday π I am eating a breakfast cookie to celebrate as we speak π
The best birthday party I ever had was after Hurricane Katrina, and the day that Hurricane Rita hit. I had left New Orleans after surviving Katrina, and gone to stay with a cousin in College Station, Texas. My cousin, her boyfriend, and one of her friends had prepared cake and food for us, made margaritas, bought gifts-and set them all up in her house which was undergoing renovations at the time–we’re talking a guitar case as a coffee table, lawn chairs, unfinished floors and walls–but it was AWESOME, and just what I needed after Hurricane Katrina turned my life upside down! That was my 23rd year, and I’ll never forget it!
yay! happy frday π
your puppy is too cute for words π

Happy long weekend, lady!
My favorite birthday party was one I threw. My boyfriend was born on leap year so in 2008 it was his “sixth” birthday. I threw him a surprise party will all the stuff that was popular when we were six!! I had a mario cake and special ordered candy. It was a lot of fun!
hubby through me a terrific suprise party for my 30th. My favorite people and my favorite food all in one place!
Probably this year’s! I turned 24 on the 24th of July, right before we moved away from New York City. My husband took me on a 2hour bike ride in Central Park and then we went to a famous shake place.
Murphy = too cute.
I had a really similar breakfast this morning!
My favorite birthday was my 22nd – the year after I returned to England from studying abroad here. My boy flew out from Texas to be there and people from all corners of the country came – it was amazing!!
absolutely adorable!!! I remember my sweet 16 – It was a luau theme with great food, decorations and a pina colada machine, non-alcoholic of course! have a great weekend with your loves π
