Good morning, friends!
With the summer’s heat on full blast this week, the last thing I want to do is turn on my stove, but we all know breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so there’s no skipping it in our house, especially when eating a healthy one sets the tone for my entire day. That said, here are a bunch of nutritious, delicious, and, best of all, no-cook ideas for breakfast that will get your day off on the right foot!
Ricotta Toast with Raspberries and Almonds
I can’t get enough ricotta toast lately, especially when it’s paired with fresh fruit and Honey Roasted Cinnamon Almonds. The combination is cold, sweet, and creamy with a boost of carbs, which gives me energy and gets me moving in the morning!
Sriracha Eggs + Avocado
With this delicious combo of eggs, avocado, and Sriracha Flavored Almonds, you can enjoy a cool, savory breakfast in no time at all. Just hard-boil 2-3 eggs, dice up half of an avocado, and then add crushed Sriracha Flavored Almonds and your choice of hot sauce to the mix. Oh my gosh, it is so good. Definitely try this one. I promise it will not disappoint! It also makes a great snack/lunch/dinner!
CAB (cereal + almonds + berries) Parfaits
Parfaits are such a fun way to jazz up your usual (perhaps boring?) bowl of cereal or yogurt. Just layer your favorite kind of yogurt with almonds (I used Honey Roasted for some added sweetness and crunch), cereal, and fresh berries. Then, grab a spoon and dig in. Easy as that! These parfaits are also great for dinner, especially when it’s way too hot to cook!
Blueberry Vanilla Almond Smoothie
This Blueberry Vanilla Almond Smoothie combines so many wonderful flavors together with a touch of sweetness from fresh blueberries, vanilla-flavored protein powder, and Honey Roasted Vanilla Almonds. Mmm! And it’s got some serious staying power with the satisfying combo of protein and fat. What you’ll need: 1 cup blueberries, 1/4 cup Honey Roasted Vanilla Almonds, 1/4 cup vanilla protein powder, 1 cup vanilla almond milk, 4-5 ice cubes. How to make it: Combine ingredients in a blender until smooth. Makes 1 serving
I also love this Pick-Me-Up Smoothie that’s made with banana, espresso, and almond milk.
Tropical Almond Yogurt
This breakfast can literally be thrown together in a matter of minutes. Just add sliced banana and Toasted Coconut Almonds to your favorite yogurt. I love using coconut or vanilla yogurt with this flavor combo.
Sweet Vanilla Almond Overnight Oats
If your mornings are hectic, overnight oats are a great option for a healthy breakfast since you make them the night before. That way you have a tasty meal waiting for you first thing in the morning. What you’ll need: 1/2 cup rolled oats, 1 cup vanilla almond milk, 1/4 cup Honey Roasted Vanilla Almonds, 1/4 tsp vanilla extract, 1 tsp chia seeds, 2 tsp maple syrup, and fresh berries to taste. How to make it: Combine ingredients (except berries) in a mason jar or bowl and refrigerate overnight. Top with fresh berries and grab a spoon the next morning! Makes 1 serving
I also love this recipe for Almond Joy Chia Pudding with some Dark Chocolate Almonds.

Eggs, avocado and smoked salmon is my favourite cold breakfast, but sometimes only a smoothie will do…lots of greens!
Yum! I love the blue diamond coconut almonds too! My favorite summer breakfast is yogurt with lots of fresh fruit, but my favorite “not so good” breakfast would have to be a boston cream donut!
Yum!! So many great recipe ideas above. My favorite summer go to when I don’t want to turn the oven on is toast with smashed avocado with some lime, salt, pepper and hot pepper flakes. Easy and delicious.
I love smoothies in the summer, and with just changing up the fruit there are so many possibilities and so easy to change up the flavor!
My favorite summer breakfast is all the fruit (blueberries, strawberries, cherries…etc) with a side of cottage cheese with grapes!
I’m living eggs on salads lately. Perfect for an anytime meal. http://skinnyfitalicious.com/eggs-benedict-salad/
i’ve been loving this summer berry jam oat bowl – it seriously tastes like pie! http://itzlinz.com/2015/07/08/summer-berry-jam-oat-bowl-recipe/
I’ve been eating breakfast salads with eggs and also including avocado so not everything has to be cooked! Also a nice filling smoothie does the trick after a run where I can’t stop sweating.
Smoothies, yogurt or smoothie bowls and toast with avocado are my favorites. Usually I decide based on my morning, the temperature and how much time I have!
I have been trying to cook more things at once so I heat my kitchen less! Also sometimes just swtiching to raw veggies does the trick.
I always love parfaits or fruit-nut-cereal-yogurt bowls. All the different flavors and textures are super satisfying and they’re easy to throw together!
Love the parfait idea with cereal! Also, I need to add more ricotta into my life…I only think about it in dishes like lasagna but it looks yummy on that toast!
I have been loving yogurt and granola lately. Nothing very exotic or creative, but so delicious on a hot day!
I love fibre1, greek yogurt, sprinkle of almonds, chia seeds and cocoa powder with protein powder if I really need the staying power.
Best breakfast ever! I imagine it would be so yummy with some flavoured almonds. Chocolate almonds would take care of the need to add cocoa, or coconut covered ones would be a new yummy flavour.
Or if I know I need a breakfast bar, I make one ahead of time and keep them in the freezer.
I like using bran buds, peanut butter, honey, shredded coconut and protein powder. I keep it pretty simple, no million ingredients to mix together.
I like to make a breakfast bagel and take it to work- whole wheat bagel, avocado and hard boiled egg on one side, cream cheese with dill and smoked salmon on the other. SO good!
Do you have a post for hot breakfasts for cold mornings in opposition to this one? 🙂
I love these ideas – especially the ricotta toast!! Going to try that one soon.
I love anything that I can make a big batch of and have for the week – one of my favorites are these ham & veggie egg cups!

I love blue diamond flavored almonds and always have a few different flavors to choose from. I love making parfaits with cereal, yogurt, almonds, and berries. It has been my go-to all summer. I am going to have to give your egg bowl a try. It looks like an awesome snack.
Great list! One of my favorite parts of cold breakfasts is the lack of clean up and the quick assembly! Essential with a one year old.
Smoothie bowls have been my breakfast if choice for the past few weeks. I love that I can get a few servings of veggies in first thing in the morning.
I love all these suggestions. I find that I’m always in a breakfast rut, but I love the CAB and the eggs/avocado combo!
While some mornings I just crave something hot and nourishing, hot summer mornings couldn’t be more different! I love avocado toast, overnight oats, and anything with fruit on those days!
The eggs and avocado look so good!!
Just made this the other day, not sure if you could classify it as breakfast, but it’s super easy to make in the slow cooker. If you love coconut, you have to try it:

Yummmm!
I absolutely love eggs with avocado, sweet potato & some chili powder. Never thought to add almonds. Would definitely add a nice crunch!
Gorgeous pictures – love all of these breakfast ideas!
My favorite cold breakfast is green smoothies: http://saganmorrow.com/healthy/smoothies/
Great ideas! I’ve recently been obsessed with raspberries with yogurt or in a smoothie, so I’ll be sure to try the ricotta-raspberry toast!
I keep it super simple and just scramble a couple eggs, dice some avocado and top with salsa or hot sauce. I usually have some fruit on the side or pack some fruit for a snack to take to work. It satisfies my need for protein after a morning workout!
