I’m having some weird-o coffee cravings today. For once, I’m not craving coffee for its caffeine; I’m craving it for its taste. Even though I drank a glass of iced coffee with breakfast, I craved coffee for my entire commute to work. When I finally had my second cup, it tasted so good when it hit my lips!
Today’s lunch was leftovers from last night’s dinner: French bread pizza with prosciutto and mozzarella and sweet potato “chips.”

For dessert, I enjoyed a caramel-filled chocolate egg, which had been stored in the office refrigerator all morning. The caramel was cool, sweet, and chewy! 😀

I am blogging from the Cafe Gato Rojo, where there are strong aromas of espresso and freshly brewed coffee, which again made me crave a hot cup. While “working,” I am sipping on a soy cappuccino with cinnamon and cocoa sprinkled on top. It is totally satisfying my craving! 😀

Those sweet potato “chips” look great! Definitely have to try that some time. I’m also an avid coffee drinker – Starbucks Lattes, DD French Vanilla, and Caribou Coffee that I make in my Keurig each morning (best machine ever!!!).

I used to be an every once in a while coffee drinker, but now it’s everyday, usually in the car on the way to work. For me it’s more about the taste than the caffeine and I like to drink it with flavored creamer and stevia.
Oh my gosh, as a coffee lover, that last cup looks PHENOMENAL! Yummy 🙂
Frozen candy gets the thumbs up as well! Frozen snickers in particular are incredible!

iced with a splash of milk and a splash of sugar free vanilla syrup. I pay $2.91 for it at a local shop, but now that the season is back for some iced goodness I am going to start making it myself again!

I started drinking coffee when I was 14. I’ve stopped and re-started a bunch of times because I feel like I function better without caffeine. But I’ll still have a cup (or 2) when I need a boost every once in a while 🙂

If you have ever read my blog you will often see me mention my morning coffeeeeeeeeeee and my insane Starbucks addiction. 🙂 Coffee at home is made with brown sugar and skim milk (or sometime soy or almond milk or whatever’s handy). Coffee at a restaurant I enjoy with real cream as a treat. At SB it’s almost always a double tall non-fat vanilla latte but I have been known to change it up once in a while.
I’m a die-hard soy latte girl. 🙂
Ooh but my new favorite, which YOU should try, is the Vanilla Rooibos Latte (with soymilk) from TEALUXE! It’s soooo good – go get one NOW!
My old roommate left me a wonderful stovetop espresso maker (not unlike this one: http://www.foodnetworkstore.com/ProductDetail.aspx?R=145592&ccaid=FNFROOG145592). I have it with 1 cup of microwaved milk every morning– basically a latte, but the milk isn’t frothed. I sweeten it with agave nectar, or hazelnut syrup on special mornings.Mmm… makes me look forward to the morning!

I hear ya on the coffee! As the weather gets warmer, my cravings go out of control and I NEED iced lattes! Good thing we bought a super automatic espresso machine last year or I would go broke at Starbucks!

Have to have coffee every day! My favorite flavors are French Vanilla, Hazelnut, and Toasted Almond…and I usually just take it with milk (no sugar!)
