Maybe you’ve tried them all, but nothing has “stuck” for more than a few weeks because you lose motivation. You know “what to do” when it comes to your diet, but end up falling into old habits. You need accountability to just do the thing all ready and save yourself from self-sabotage!

We get it. We truly do.

But if you’re looking for someone to tell you what to eat and how many days to workout or a cookie-cutter, one-size-fits-all approach, Carrots ‘N’ Cake Nutrition is not for you. 

We’re a whole health coaching team that believes your results and health come from so much more than just food and exercise, and what YOU need is individual and different than what someone else might need.

The Carrots ‘N’ Cake Nutrition team show you how to find REAL balance within your diet without feeling like you have to always second-guess your “good” and “bad” choices. You can have the carrots and the cake and not feel guilty about it!

We use a macro-based approach and tailor your targets with your individual goals and lifestyle in mind. While some nutrition coaches send you off, out on your own, with a macro prescription, we look at the whole picture – everything from daily habits and exercise to hormones and sleep – and you’ll receive ongoing support and accountability all along the way. It’s like having your own personal nutrition coach right in your back pocket!

We’ll also work together to find a way of eating that really works for your body, so you can feel confident that what you consume from day-to-day is purposefully supporting your overall health, body composition goals, metabolism, progress in the gym, and more. This, of course, means no more guessing what diet you should try next. Working with us will be the last “diet” you ever try!

How it works

Apply for 1:1 coaching and book your discovery call to determine the best course of action for you. As an FDN-P, I have access to various functional lab tests should you need any (not everyone does), and I will provide interpretations and targeted protocols as well as 1:1 coaching. Testing includes comprehensive hormone panels, DNA stool testing, reliable food sensitivity testing, etc.

Not everyone needs functional testing, so, if that’s the case, our conversation will help determine what exact coaching you’ll need (macros, exercise, mindset etc.), and I’ll set you up with an amazing Carrots ‘N’ Cake Nutrition Coach, who will take you all the way through the process. I’ve trained all of my coaching team members personally (they have literally all come up “in house”), and they know and use my methods inside and out. I’ll be in frequent communication with your coach, so I can keep and eye on your progress and be with you the whole way!

1:1 Coaching

This option is for individuals who are ready to make a lifestyle change and fully immerse themselves in the program. Clients will work up close and personal with me and learn how to apply a macro-based approach to their diet in order to achieve long-lasting results. Applicants must be ready to take action and willing to devote time and space to this process since it’s a significant investment and we will address a variety of lifestyle factors and habits. Requires a 6-month commitment.

Group Coaching

This option is for individuals who want to work directly with Tina in a group setting. In a private Facebook group and live Zoom calls, you’ll be able to ask questions, brainstorm solutions, and connect with like-minded women about anything and everything related to macros, healthy eating, family life, meal prep, fitness, and so much more!

DIY Macros

This “do-it-yourself” option is for individuals who prefer to learn on their own and might not be quite ready or have the time to commit to a 1:1 or group coaching relationship. This program is great for anyone who’s new to macros or who has tracked macros in the past and needs some motivation to start again. It includes a variety of resources intended to educate and support your journey all along the way. Includes a comprehensive guide for learning how to calculate and make adjustments to your macros.

1:1 Coaching

This option is for individuals who are ready to make a lifestyle change and fully immerse themselves in the program. Clients will work up close and personal with a Carrots ‘N’ Cake Nutrition Coach and learn how to apply a macro-based approach to their diet in order to achieve long-lasting results. Applicants must be ready to take action and willing to devote time and space to this process.

Initial consultation with goal setting
You will hop on the phone with Tina for a discovery call to discuss your current health situation, goals, and more. On the call, we’ll determine the best course of action for you.

Personalized macro + calorie goals
Based off your goals, activity level, and body composition, we’ll calculate your personalized macro and calorie goals for both workout and rest days to best fit your lifestyle and help you achieve your ideal body composition.

Open + ongoing communication
You’ll stay in touch with your coach via monthly phone calls and frequent voice messaging. Our goal is to meet you where you are when it comes to education, habits, and motivation, so we encourage frequent communication with my clients. It’s like having a 24/7 accountability buddy when you need her!

Regular feedback on food diary 
Your coach will provide regular feedback on your macro tracking and food choices. You’ll work together to find options that help you feel satisfied after meals, keep your mood stable, and work within your lifestyle, so you always feel in control of your decisions.

New macro-friendly recipes
You’ll receive 6 new recipes each week to help guide your tracking. We firmly believe that even doing a little meal prep is always better than nothing. Plus, having new recipes on-hand each week will keep you excited about your meals, so you’re much more likely to stay on track!

Ongoing support via private Facebook community group
In our private group, you’ll be able to find extra support and accountability, share healthy recipes, brainstorm solutions to challenges, and connect with others who are also striving to live a healthier life!

Access to functional lab testing
Functional lab testing is always optional, but sometimes needed for clients whose progress has stalled. Testing options include comprehensive hormone panels, DNA stool testing, reliable food sensitivity testing, etc.

Coaching Team

Emma Hammond

Emma Hammond is a Certified Personal Trainer, Precision Nutrition Coach, Pre/Postnatal Specialist and holds a BS in Psychology. After going through her own personal journey to reclaim her health, she was inspired to educate and empower others to find their healthy balance. She has been working in the fitness and nutrition field for almost 10 years, with a focus on empowering women to stop the yo-yo diet cycles and find sustainable results.

After adjusting to her newest role as mom, Emma enjoys working with expecting and new mamas to navigate where exercise and nutrition fits into their new family. She also has expertise in working with clients of varying ages who are going through hormonal challenges. From hypothalamic amenorrhea, menopause, and those needing to utilize reverse dieting in order to restore overall wellness. With a history in athletics, she also loves to work with clients seeking to optimize their fitness goals. Whether the goal is to hit a race or gym PR, Emma enjoys customizing clients nutrition and training to fuel their results.

In her free time, Emma enjoys hanging out in Savannah Georgia with her husband, toddler son and two crazy dogs. Her happy place outside of her love for the gym, is in the kitchen baking up family favorites while sipping on a glass of red wine.

Allison Jackson

Allison Jackson is a certified Macro Nutrition Expert (Precision Nutrition and Eve Guzman’s Macro Mentorship), NASM-certified personal trainer and yoga instructor (YTT-200). She is also an OCB, NGA and ANBF pro masters figure competitor.

Allison is passionate about all things health and fitness, but she really loves sharing her knowledge and expertise to help busy moms get lean eating foods they love so they can be at their best. She knows exactly how hard it is to work full-time, take care of the kids and household… plus try to fit in working out, eating right and taking care of herself, too!

As someone who’s battle her weight and body image issues for most of her life, Allison’s philosophy is that wellness is about mind, body and spirit: your health and how you feel is more important than a number on the scale.

Based in NJ, when she’s not tracking macros, she’s spending time with her husband, Scott, and two teenagers (Connor, 17 and Madison, 13).

Tina Haupert

Tina Haupert is a Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner (FDN-P), Certified Nutrition Coach, and founder of Carrots ‘N’ Cake. She’s spent more than a decade in the online health industry and coached hundreds of women to improve their relationship with food by utilizing a macro- based approach while simultaneously achieving their body composition goals. Life is all about having your carrots and cake, too!

Through her own personal struggles with ulcerative colitis, post-birth control syndrome (aka wacky hormones) and navigating doctors and the broken health system, Tina is committed to helping women take massive action toward becoming their happiest and healthiest self yet. Instead of ‘bandaids’ and doctors who don’t listen, she uses functional testing to address underlying metabolic chaos and root causes with nutrition and lifestyle recommendations via the DRESS for Success protocol.

Tina lives on the South Shore of Massachusetts with her husband, son (6), and senior pug. She loves spending time with her boys on family walks, hiking, traveling, and trying new restaurants.
