I'm Tina

I’m the owner of Carrots ‘N’ Cake as well as a Certified Nutrition Coach and Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner (FDN-P). I use macros and functional nutrition to help women find balance within their diets while achieving their body composition goals.


An in-depth, 4-week reverse dieting course for women who feel like their metabolism has slowed down, think they might have hormonal imbalance and can’t lose weight no matter what they do.


  1. Hey Tina!! Your workouts for CNW are very similar to Jillian Michaels’ new DVD Ripped in 30. Great DVD!! I try to fit it in 3x a week with my running.

  2. Hi Tina, FYI…I read your blog via Google Reader and for some reason, over the last week I am NOT able to see any of your photos. When I click on to your website/blog, it’s all good but it’s just through Google Reader. Don’t know if anyone else is having issues. I use an Apple (don’t know if that matters).

  4. Hey Tina – Your photos are not showing up in Google Reader. I am using Firefox 4.0 on a Mac. I was seeing everything fine until about a week ago, now i just see the jpg link.

  5. Two (honest) questions (not criticisms — promise!) — do you do a total of 30 reps on the reverse fly, or switch legs half-way through, or what? Also — I’m old… in my 40’s… so things may have changed. But does the guy doing the squats have terrible form? That looks like it is awful on the knees to squat with your knees out over your toes like that…

    I really appreciate you posting these. My family just moved and our budget doesn’t currently allow me to join a gym — but I have the internet and hand weights! And I get awesome pug pics to go with! Suh-weet! 🙂
