CNC Turns Six {Kickass Stitch Fix Giveaway}

Mastermind Weekend 1/16

Hey there!

I'm Tina

I’m the owner of Carrots ‘N’ Cake as well as a Certified Nutrition Coach and Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner (FDN-P). I use macros and functional nutrition to help women find balance within their diets while achieving their body composition goals.

An in-depth, 4-week reverse dieting course for women who feel like their metabolism has slowed down, think they might have hormonal imbalance and can’t lose weight no matter what they do.

Happy National Carrot Cake Day!

Carrot Cupcakes with Cream Cheese Icing

Today is also the day that I started Carrot ”˜N’ Cake six years ago. (I still can’t believe I’ve been blogging for that long!) My first blog post was published on February 3, 2008. Crazy coincidence, right? Sometimes, I just think it was meant to be.

Every year on my blog birthday, I host a kickass giveaway to celebrate this milestone and thank you guys for reading each and every day. Without you, there’s no way I could do this job, so THANK YOU for supporting me all of these years. You are truly the best.

This year’s giveaway is another good one. In fact, it’s probably the best one I have offered on CNC yet. Are you ready?!

Here’s your chance to win one of SIX $200 credits to Stitch Fix (<– referral link)!!!

Disclaimer: This giveaway is not sponsored by Stitch Fix. Through affiliate referrals, I’ve earned quite a bit of credit, so I asked the nice folks at Stitch Fix if I could give away some of it for CNC’s birthday celebration and they agreed. I honestly just love this service so much, I want everyone to experience it.

Ok, are you ready to enter?

To enter: Make sure you’re signed up for Stitch Fix (if you win the giveaway, you’ll need an account to transfer the $200 credit) and then leave a comment on this post about your favorite CNC post since you started reading.

You can earn a second entry by ”˜liking’ both Carrots ”˜N’ Cake and Stitch Fix on Facebook. Just be sure to leave a second comment on this post saying that you did so.

I will randomly pick SIX winners on Thursday to each win $200 to Stitch Fix!

Good luck!

This giveaway is open to those living in the U.S. as Stitch Fix is only shipping to U.S. addresses at this time.

  1. I know this might be silly, but I loved the cheesy Brussels sprouts recipe post. I make it all the time now! I’m addicted!!

  2. While I don’t do Crossfit, I love the posts when you went to the Crossfit Games because it was so clear how happy and excited you were to be there!

  3. My favorite post?? Hard to pick since I’ve been following for years now! Biggest recipe hit would have to be your no bake “almond joy” cookies with almond butter, chocolate chips and coconut in them. I brought them to a crossfit throwdown (for snacks afterward) and everyone devoured them!

  4. I just found your blog while doing a Google search for Stitch Fix, so this is actually the first (and so far only) post of yours I’ve read… that makes it my favorite. 🙂 I’m excited to have found this blog, both for the giveaway and because I look forward to getting to know Carrots ‘N Cake now that I’ve found it. 🙂

  5. I enjoy your crossfit posts! While I have never crossfitted before, I love doing interval and weight training. Therefore, hearing about all of your crossfit adventures definitely inspires my workouts!

  6. I loved reading your post about your pregnancy! I have been reading your blog since I was in college and was so excited to read about your wonderful news!

  7. Oh goodness, I’ve been reading your blog for over 2 years now, so it’s hard to choose a favorite! However, I’ve always enjoyed your “life lessons from Murphy” posts…so adorable and makes me remember to appreciate the little things

  8. I just found your blog through PB Fingers, but i have to say i am enjoying reading your workout posts, especially crossfit!

  9. I’ve been reading since 2008!! You’re just the best, and I love seeing how successful you’ve been! I can’t wait to “meet” baby H too 🙂 Thanks for all the inspiration over the years and Happy Birthday to CNC!

  10. I love all the workout/weightloss/crossfit posts almost as much as I love the stitch fix ones! I’m so excited to try stitchfix, just not sure I’m ready to pull the trigger financially. I’m afraid I’ll love everything and not be able to afford to keep it all and then be heart broken (can you say viscous cycle?). Through your posts, I can live vicariously through you.

  11. My favorite posts were the ones you wrote from the Crossfit Games … I watched the Games on tv last year, but would love the chance to see them in person. Happy birthday CNC!

  12. I have a stitch fix account and have liked stitch fix and cnc on fb. Please let me win so I can get my first fix!

  13. I’ve only recently stumbled across your site, actually while trying to decide if I should give Stitch Fix a shot so your posts with your boxes were very helpful. But my favorite has to be the hot chocolate on a stick – I had to try making that right away.

  14. I’ve been enjoying your blog posts about working out during pregnancy best. Having just recently just had a little boy, I worked out throughout my pregnancy too and it’s great to see others doing it as well (as long as they feel well enough). Great contest!

  15. I haven’t been reading for terribly long but I really liked you Boston City guide pots. I went to school in Boston, and every time I go back to visit friends they ask me what I want to do, and I always want to try something new that I didn’t do in college. So when I saw that post I took note on what restaurants to try. I went to Max Brenner, which was fantastic. they had hot chocolate that tasted like the hot chocolate I had when I studied abroad in Italy. Sweet Nostalgia! I have Steel & Rye on my list for next time! I love stitch fix, they have yet to get my size right but still send cute clothes!

Also I liked Stitch fix and CNC on FB!

  16. My favorite post is about what you learned from marathon training. I’m currently running my first marathon this year and I’ll take all the advice, tips, experience from others I can get!

  17. Favorite post…ever?! I love your creative breakfasts and pug posts but I think the one where you announced you’re pregnant 🙂

  18. My favorite posts are about Murphy! My most recent favorite is “Holiday Gift Guide for the Pug Lover”. The pictures are adorable 🙂

  19. Late, but wanted to congratulate you! Love this page & the fact that its anniversary is the same of my birthday!!!!! n.n Keep it up, it’s an awesome blog 😉
