Hi, friends! Happy Sunday!
This week’s meal plan actually doesn’t have a ton of dinners in it, but Mal and I sure bought a lot of food!
We tried the whole BJ’s thing and stocked up on a bunch of our favorite foods, so, hopefully, it’ll save us some money in the long run.
Even though we spent nearly double our weekly shopping budget at BJ’s, we still needed to shop at Fresh Market to buy the rest of our groceries.
And Mal’s last day of school is tomorrow, so we needed more lunch foods in the house. I usually just wing it for lunch and throw together whatever I can find, but Mal would much rather have a “real” meal, which is why he eats leftovers from dinner so often. We’re dining out a few times this week, so I planned a couple of lunches as well.
This week’s dinner menu:
- Sunday: Gingery Broccoli and Beef
- Monday: Tuna, black bean, and avocado salads
- Tuesday: Curry Chicken Salad in Lettuce Cups
- Wednesday: Out to dinner
- Thursday: Out to dinner
- Friday: Wing it/leftovers
- Saturday: BBQ

Love all your preplanning! I’ve been thinking about it myself after getting tired of prepping meals every day, several times a day, but I’m loving eating fresh foods for every meal. We’ll see!
Thanks for the post!
Thanks for the sweet potato quesadilla recipe! I made them for dinner tonight!
Welcome to the joys of shopping in bulk! I am a HUGE, ridiculous fan of Costco. I don’t think they do a free trial, but I know people who have had friends buy them gift cards to test the waters before getting their own membership. Try Costco before you write off bulk stores!
Curry chicken salad sounds yummy! What do you think of Fresh Market, they are building one near me.
I love it! 🙂
It is an easy $100 when I go to BJs. Its so easy to spend in there! We just take the number of items in our cart and multiply by $10 each to estimate. We are usually close. Oy.
