Hey, hey! Happy Tuesday!

First things first: I started a new feature on my Instagram feed to share my daily eats – sometimes with macronutrient totals and sometimes without (because I don’t always track). If you’re on Instagram, be sure to check it out and follow along! My plan is that it becomes a daily feature in my feed! 🙂

And here’s a little recap from yesterday – starting with CrossFit!

The strength part of the workout was front squats I used #120, which was challenging, but not the worst ever. My quads are, however, on fire this morning – so sore!

The workout of the day killed me, but only because I’m terrible at toes-to-bar. WHY am I so bad at them!?

After class, I quickly showered and then drove over to the Capital One Café to meet Kerrie, our video team, and our marketing team for some meetings and B-roll video.

I spent the rest of the morning and afternoon working, but barely crossed anything off my To Do list. Ughhh, don’t you hate that?

As I was leaving Derby Street, I popped into Lululemon to do a little shopping. I ended up finding this beauty and can’t wait to wear it! (I seriously want it in every color now!)

Back at home, the boys were hanging out in the kitchen, so I put them to work – helping me cook dinner. Qman learned how to shuck his first ear of corn. He was actually really good at it, and he even ate some corn with dinner, which was his first time ever. He even liked it! Woohoo! New food!

My evening concluded with a bowl of Peanut Butter Puffins and catching up with some Big Brother.

  1. Instagram is definitely my favorite social media platform, but I don’t spend time reading long comments – I prefer to breeze through the pictures. I still ready blogs daily.

    1. Big Brother is SO GOOD. I think this is my 5th year watching it, but you really need to start it from the beginning for it to make sense. It’s super addictive though! 🙂

  2. I love the daily eats feature on Instagram and also the macro count. I know that can be a bit time consuming though (I also loosely track on MyFitnessPal). It might also be detrimental to people who are number-focused and think that your macros should be their macros. Make sense?

    Instagram is my favorite social channel, I think! I try to limit my time on their daily because it can definitely get out of hand.

  3. I still read blogs a lot but instagram has become my favorite social media. I think it’s because my FB is family etc so is currently kinda political/stressful whereas my IG is mostly healthy living/bloggers/blog friends/pets.

    I am old school. I like blogs on feedly. I have IG but been limiting my social media to FB and Twitter.

  5. Instagram (and stories) is definitely my favorite. I don’t go to many bloggers sites nowadays. I read yours when it comes in my email, which I love!

  6. those tops from Lululemon are THE BEST! i got one a few years ago, then had a bad day last winter so i went and bought 2 more, then got a gift card for my bday and another one…! they are so comfortable, flattering, perfect for errands, running, to/from gym, literally everything. ok enough 😉
    oh and i love instagram but lots of blogs, too.
