Hi, guys!
It’s no secret that I love snack bars. I often turn to them when I need a quick snack or when I travel. I even enjoy them as dessert after dinner on occasion. Basically, I’m a huge fan of snack bars and always like discovering new ones. That said, I was intrigued when Cascadian Farms contacted about their new protein granola bars made with pea protein.
Each bar has 250 calories, 14-16 grams of fat (2 grams saturated), 3 grams of fiber, and 9 grams of protein, which makes them quite the satisfying snack.
And the best part about these bars (besides the taste, of course) is the ingredient listāāthere’sĀ not too many and nothing crazy-artificial. Personally, this really surprised me because I typically expect boxed bars to have all sorts of weird, hard-to-pronounce ingredients in them. Reading the ingredient list on the side of the box was definitely a nice surprise.
Ever since Cascadian Farms sent me some of their protein granola bars, I’ve been taking them everywhere with me. Here are just some of the places they’ve traveled with meā¦
Road trip to Burlington, Vermont
Church Street – Burlington, Vermont
Puppy playdate at the dog park
Post-CrossFit workout
Waiting for my car to be fixed
Running errands with Mal
And now here’s your chance to try these bars for yourself! Cascadian Farms is giving away a prize pack, which includes the new protein bars, a tote bag, t-shirt, mittens, and portable water bottle!

After looking at these Cascadian Farms Protein bars, this very well could be my favorite and I would love to try one. I usually bring a peanut butter jelly on whole wheat, which travels well.
