Carrots ‘N’ Cake Turns 9 + Win a Designed to Fit Meal Plan

Mastermind Weekend 1/16

Hey there!

I'm Tina

I’m the owner of Carrots ‘N’ Cake as well as a Certified Nutrition Coach and Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner (FDN-P). I use macros and functional nutrition to help women find balance within their diets while achieving their body composition goals.

An in-depth, 4-week reverse dieting course for women who feel like their metabolism has slowed down, think they might have hormonal imbalance and can’t lose weight no matter what they do.

Good morning!

There’s a lot to celebrate today! It’s National Carrot Cake Day as well as the day that I started Carrot ‘N’ Cake NINE (!!!) years ago. I love this crazy coincidence and feel like it was just meant to be!

First off, I just want to say THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for reading CNC. This blog wouldn’t be what it is today without you, and I can’t even begin to explain how much each of your comments, questions, messages, likes, and emails mean to me. <3

If you’ve followed CNC for awhile now, you know just HOW MUCH my life has changed since the start of this blog. (Related: Here’s a little recap from February 2008 – present.) And now I’m moving on to another phase of my life: Designed to Fit Nutrition. It’s something that Kerrie and I talked about for years and now it’s a reality. We’ve already put so much time, energy, and money into this business, and we’re just getting started. I’m SO EXCITED to see what the future holds for us! 🙂

Local readers: We’ll be at Whole Foods Market Hingham on Wednesday, February 22nd if you want to learn more about DTFN. Register here!

  1. I am a busy mom of 3. I would love to do something for myself that makes me feel good inside and out. A custom meal plan all for me would be amazing!

  2. The meal plan would be amazing! While I feel like I have a good handle on the exercise part of things, it’s the eating part of things that throws me into a tailspin every time!

  3. Wait…are you not going to blog at CNC anymore? The “moving on” bit sounds like you’re going to close up shop!

  4. I would like an opportunity to win a DTFN meal plan because health is the most important thing in my life and I have a lot to learn. DTFN is something that shows up on my newsfeed daily and makes me go I wonder if I could do that? I workout regularly but a good diet is something that I would like to learn more about. I think the idea of a specialized meal plan could benefit me and educate me on what is best nutritionally for my body.

  5. I find it overwhelming when trying to figure out what to eat or not eat. The DTFN plan would solve my overwhelming issue! 🙂
BTW – I really enjoy reading your blog. Thanks for sharing!

  6. Would love to win this meal plan! I feel like I am in such a rut with eating…I want to cook/eat more nutritious foods but I feel like I never know what to make and when!

  7. Happy birthday CNC! I’m at a place where physical progress has kinda plateaued … and it would be awesome to have a meal plan that is customized to me! I really struggle with what to make for lunch and I’m really sick of salads!

  8. I am training for my first Ironman and would LOVE help crafting a meal plan that will help bring some balance into my life 🙂

  9. I would love to win because I really dont know where to start and feel like this would be a way to success. Thanks for the chance

  10. Busy mom of a two-year-old here. This morning I put on a pair of jeans and I looked like a Pillsbury crescent roll tube exploding from the top. I seriously need to lose some weight and would love the Designed to Fit nutrition plan.

  11. Happy birthday CNC! I’ve been a reader since 2009 (!!) and just recently have changed to a new job in sales / marketing for biotech as well. Have been looking for some help with meal planning and then would love to pay it forward to help other women achieve their goals.

  12. I’d love to win, I’m due in April with my 3rd baby and this would help jumpstart the weights loss journey again!

  13. I would love this meal plan! I am a working mom for a 9 month old that I am still nursing. My husband is away so meal prep is key for us! I have been in a sweet tooth and snacking rut and believe it could be nutrition related. I would love a professional insight on this! =)

  14. Happy blog-iversary! I’ve been a reader of yours for 7+ years (and haven’t won a giveaway yet!) 😉 I would LOVE to work with you and gain some insight into achieving my nutrition and fitness goals! I’m a healthy eater for sure, but want to dial things in a bit to see some more progress. Fingers are crossed!!!

  15. Happy Anniversary!! I definitely need some help planning meals to fuel my workouts and keep me on track without taking forever…with two little ones it is so tricky to make and stick with a meal plan!!

  16. I would love to win a meal plan to kick start a plan to feel better. I have spent months exhausted to find that I had mono and was never diagnosed. Now that I am getting more energy, I would like to restart my exercise and healthy food filled life style!!

  17. I would love to win because I just finished a rigorous MBA program and I want to restart my life in a healthy way. This would give me a great foundation and accountability – which would be exactly what I need.

  18. I’m 8 months pregnant and wanting a plan for postpartum that balances breastfeeding needs with my desire to fit back into my pre-pregnancy pants!

  19. I would love to win a DTFN meal plan! I am back on track with exercising… but the eating.meal plan part is the hard part!

  20. I have been a total fan for years, especially since you and I are pug lovers! My sweet Booboo crossed the Rainbow Bridge last year at age 16. the following month I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and had a year of chemos and major surgery. I am now ready to get back to healthy eating and slowly working out. I am a 67 year old grandma and enjoy reading your blogs and your book! I would be thrilled to win your nutrition plan to help me get back on track!

  21. I’ve finally found a workout that I love and would really like to step up my game on the nutrition side. I’ve tried counting macros before and always end up giving up.

  22. I would love to win the meal plan – I have to recommit to eating healthier and cooking more, and this would definitely put me back on the right track!

  23. After my mom had quadruple bypass surgery 3 years ago I have lost 50 pounds and lowered my cholesterol to levels that currently do not put me at risk for heart disease. I have done this through tracking what I eat in My Fitness Pal and working out. I have such trouble hitting macros even when using My Fitness Pal and would be amazed to see if my body composition can change by truly hitting these target numbers. I know having the meal plans and shopping lists as a guide would set me up for the success I have yet to see.

  24. I’m pretty good about exercising most days, but my eating must not be the best as I don’t see the results I want. A chance to get some good coaching and planning would be amazing! Thanks and congrats on 9 years on the blog!
