I bet you’ve never seen a pug peanut butter addiction up close and personal? I finished off the jar of Teddie this morning, so I let Murphy go to town on it!

I love peanut butter, but I actually think Murphy loves it more than me. Did you see those crazy pug eyes in the last photo?! What a nut.


My breakfast this morning was a toasted English muffin with peanut butter and banana slices on top.

Question of the Day

I don’t know about you, but I go through phases of loving certain foods and eating them all of the time. Right now, I’m obsessed with smoothies and coconut butter.

What are the foods that you can’t get enough of right now?



  1. I was just in a month long phase where I had to put canned pumpkin and pumpkin pie spice in my cottage cheese. Sooooo good! I ate it every day and now I think I’m tired of it.

    Someday I shall love you again canned pumpkin and cottage cheese.

  2. I can’t get enough of greek yogurt, bananas, and honey…I’ve been eating it practically every morning for almost a month! Once you find something that works, go with it!

    I do the same thing, I get into the habit of eating the same foods everyday until I get sick of them and then moving on to something else.

    Hmm, well I do and always will love peanut butter. I think when I was on WW, it was so high in points that I avoided it but now, I eat it probably once a day at least.

    I love Triscuits now too.

  4. This week it’s tomatoes. I know, it’s not even summer but after a month of watery grocery store tomatoes I finally got some from Whole Foods and they taste and smell like–get this–tomatoes. So I’m on tomato kick right now.

  5. I can’t get enough of tuna fish sandwiches!!! I love them so much and lately I’ve been going crazy, having them at least once every two days. Also, grapefruits. They were on sale at Stop and Shop this week and are sooo yummy with some Splenda on top 🙂

  6. Right now, it’s smoked salmon, avocado (together, even better). And my new breakfast of choice is chobani greek yogurt and granola–swear it’s like eating cookies.

  7. My dog loves peanut butter so much too. I always put some on the inside of one of his bones and he goes to town on it! I would say right now I”m a little bit obsessed with blueberries, which is a problem because they’re out of season and super expensive!!!

  8. How about chocolate? I had a bunch over the weekend, and now the sugar cravings are in full force!

    Our dog loves the PB, too. I gave her the empty jar, but had to take it back when she started chewing the plastic.

  9. For the past 2-3 months Ive been having a breakfast consisting of almond butter and jelly on whole wheat or cinnamon raisin flat bread. However, I think im slowly reaching the point of needing a change. 😀

  10. I am obsessed with Think Thin Bars – creamy peanut butter version. I have one with tea every morning when I get to work. They have 20g of protein each. My fiance says they have a horrible after taste, but I like them. You definitely have to eat with water or coffee or tea. You can find them cheap at Trader Joes. I’ve heard that you can find them cheap online, but they often arrive stale.

  11. I am head over heels in love with chobani yogurt an granola…I can’t get enough!

    Also, last night I took some peanut butter and rubbed my dogs’ bowls with it. Pretty much got me the Fur-Mommy of the Year Award 🙂

  12. Our pug and puggle LOVE peanut butter too. When we have an empty jar we give our pug the lid with peanut butter on it, since he can’t get his face in the jar. We give our puggle the jar and he gets all the way in and CLEANS it out. It keeps him busy for a while.

  13. Right now I’m obsessed with wheatberries. I’ve been adding them to everything! They are best in oatmeal or yogurt – such a great chew. Just make a huge batch and use throughout the week.

  14. I cannot get enough of butternut squash, Puffins cereal, or coconut butter. I definitely go through phases where I’m literally obsessed with a particular food (or foods) for awhile…until I get so bored of them that I never want to try them again!

  15. Dogs and PB are so funny! We used to have one of those red “kong” toys for my dog that we’d fill with peanut butter and let him go at.

    And I definitely go through food phases. I’m off my pumpkin kick, but it was pretty crazy in the fall. Right now I’m really into soups and stews!

  16. Because of seeing you eat it on this blog, I go through intense phases of loving the exact breakfast you had today-whole grain toasted english muffin topped with peanut butter and banana slices! YUM!!

  17. My love for green smoothies just resurfaced (after about a month of not being able to drink them!). I think it’s because we’ve had a few days of warmer weather and I want to pretend spring is almost here.

  18. I can’t get enough of the soup at a local restaurant. It is a make your own soup so I can choose what veggies, meats and broth I want. It’s the perfect thing for cold winter days!

    Yesterday I posted some pictures of my dog going to town with a frozen peanut butter Kong. He really likes peanut butter. When I freeze the peanut butter in the Kong it keeps him busy for hours which is great when he’s all alone.

  19. I definitely have the same food obsession phases you are describing. Up until yesterday, I’ve been in an oatmeal phase where I was eating it every single day (how original! 😉 ). Then yesterday, I magically stopped being lazy and made 2.5 batches of pancakes so I could freeze them. Now I think I’m on a pancake kick…and it is AWESOME!

  20. Artichokes!! I don’t know why, but I have been craving them lately!! If there is something that includes artichokes on a menu, I WILL order it! I guess it could be worse!
