Happy Easter from Murphy and Batman!
How adorable is little Batman!?! My sister and her husband adopted him about a week ago. He’s a mix of German Shepherd, Lab, maybe Beagle, and some other breeds. Murph is a big fan of his new cousin. The two of them played ALL afternoon together.
[rewind to this morning]
After Body Pump, we drove out to my grandparents’ house (about an hour away) for Easter brunch.
Murphy was upset that he had to sit in the backseat, so he pouted for most of the ride. Look at that pathetic pug face!
Before brunch, we stopped by my mom’s house for a quick visit. I was excited to see that the Easter Bunny came to visit! 😀
He brought Mal and I lots of goodies!
(Yes, the peanut M&Ms have “MAL ONLY” written on them because usually I eat them all! 😳 )
My dog nephew is so adorable!
I love him!
Easter brunch was quite impressive. There were so many delicious foods!
I loved the “Lamb of God” cake that my 5-year-old cousin, Erin, helped bake! 😀
I ended up drinking a mimosa before brunch.
My aunt and uncle live next door to my grandparents, so we headed over to visit their chickens.
Murphy may have had a little too much fun while there.
Leave that poor chicken alone!
The guys were psyched about the breakfast burritos at brunch. I had a couple of bites of Mal’s.
Mmm… homefries. How I love you so!
I filled my plate up with lots of goodies.
Then it was time for dessert! Look at the gorgeous cake from Konditor Meister!
Of course, I had a piece. Holy yum!
I also enjoyed a chocolate-covered strawberry!
After brunch, there was plenty more puppy playtime!
On the ride home, Mal and I popped into Dunkin’ Donuts for an afternoon pick-me-up. We have a late night ahead of us.
And, we’re off again! See ya later! 😎
