Brrrrr… it got cold outside!! I must have jinxed myself by complimenting the beautiful fall weather in my previous post. Even with a big, puffy winter coat and a pair of gloves, I was still cold! 😯

I’m SO not ready for winter. 😕

Mal came home from work right when Murphy and I were about to head out for our afternoon walk, so he joined us for an extra long adventure. Mal and I had a lot to talk about– house stuff, of course! 😉

Pugs are funny dogs! 😆

When we got home from our walk, I jokingly locked Mal out of the apartment (because I’m 5-years-old).

Locking him out actually turned into a (super nerdy) game to see who could “break” into the house. We both took turns trying.

My fingers weren’t long enough to unlock the latch, but Mal came really close a few times.

Mal and I play games like this all of the time… because we’re weird. 😉

Mal is making tuna melts for dinner tonight, so I’m in charge of setting up the DVR to watch our “programs.” I love low-key Friday nights like this. TGIF!

  1. Haha, I love fun games like this! My husband and I do stuff like that all the time and I think that is really the mark of someone you can grow old with – when you can just find entertainment in the most random of things.

  2. I love your red gloves! We have locked ourselves out of my husband’s parent’s condo before and had to break in with a credit card. I also used to be pretty good at breaking into my car from college with a hanger. I had a locking-the-key-in-my-car problem when I was a freshman.

  3. Lol, never knock nerdy games like trying to see if you can break into your own house! A few months ago, I learned that although our second-story balcony is unnervingly accessible, you can’t break in if we have this big iron bar holding the sliding glass door in place. I thought that was very valuable to know, and now we never sleep or leave the house without jamming that door shut. Although sometimes I still do stupid things like forget to close the front door all the way and come into the living room a few minutes later, horrified, to find a cold draft pervading everything and the unnerving feeling that maybe, just MAYBE, someone is hiding in the apartment and is waiting for me with some sort of deadly instrument aaaaaaaah!

They never are. But I feel I should probably stop watching horror movies. 😉
