Good morning! It’s a hot-mug-of-coffee morning here!
Well, technically, it was my only option for coffee. Mal finished off the last of the iced coffee this morning, so it was hot coffee or nothin’ for me. I actually like switching it up between iced and hot coffee once the weather gets cold, so I really don’t miss my iced coffee all that much.
Breakfast also included an egg white sandwich with sliced deli ham and melted pepper jack cheese and some grapes on the side. I usually wake up craving oatmeal and nut butter for breakfast, but eggs were all I could think about this morning.
Dinner
Dinner was recycled from a meal last week. There was quite a bit of leftover turkey meatloaf in our refrigerator, which I really didn’t want to go to waste, so I chopped it up and added some jarred marinara to make a meat sauce.
I added the meat sauce to a huge portion of spaghetti squash with grated Parmesan sprinkled on top. (Here’s how I make my spaghetti squash.)
After dinner, my night included a few bites of cookie dough.
Some serious pug cuddling.
And a ridiculous amount of Breaking Bad.
I think Mal and I watched four or five episodes in a row. I cannot get enough of this show. The acting is amazing, the plot lines are incredibly complex, and the relationships are intense and very emotional. It’s one of those shows that you keep thinking about long after you’ve stopped watching it. I’m pretty sure I even dreamed about it a few nights ago.
