BOSU Ballast Ball Giveaway

Mastermind Weekend 1/16

Hey there!

I'm Tina

I’m the owner of Carrots ‘N’ Cake as well as a Certified Nutrition Coach and Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner (FDN-P). I use macros and functional nutrition to help women find balance within their diets while achieving their body composition goals.

An in-depth, 4-week reverse dieting course for women who feel like their metabolism has slowed down, think they might have hormonal imbalance and can’t lose weight no matter what they do.

Don’t you hate it when your stability ball rolls around and wanders away from you while you’re trying to workout? Well, the BOSU Ballast Ball PRO stays put! It’s a weighted stability ball, so it won’t roll away and it’s more versatile than a traditional stability ball because you can use it as a total-body training tool.

Constructed of high-quality, burst-resistant material, it has a six-sided design for proper alignment and positioning. With the BOSU Ballast Ball, individuals can perform exercise progressions and dynamic drills that aren’t possible on a regular stability ball. The product is translucent light blue with white multi-dimensional material, and includes a foot pump and workout DVD. Product can be inflated between 55cm and 65 cm, 6.5 lbs.

To enter: Just leave a comment on this post about your favorite exercise to do on a BOSU or stability ball. I’ll randomly pick a winner on Monday morning.

Good luck!

  1. Love these for abs… But also amazing for stretching out my back, especially when my bad posture catches up with me!

  2. just found your blog after buying your book at barnes & noble last weekend. i’ve actually never used a bosu ball, but am looking to mix up my workouts!

  3. Oh man, I’ve tried a bunch of ab stuff on them and it’s awesome. What is it called when you do a plank with your tip toes on the ball and your arms are on the ground and you bring your knees to your chest? But holy cow I just googled “ball exercise bend knees” and a ton of stuff showed up. I want to try those things. Well, not exactly right now, but definitely someday when it’s not Saturday night and I’m not on my second glass of wine 🙂

  4. I don’t have one, but my daughter loves to sit on hers and bounce her newborn on it…he literally goes into a trance LOL

  5. I love to do ABS with my ball. My favorite move is like your picture, where you pass the ball from your hands to your feet. Love this!

  6. I’m fairly new to working out so I’m not sure what my favorite BOSU workout move is yet. I’m anxious to figure it out though!

  7. I love doing anything that involves working my core! And though they can be so hard, I always feel accomplished when I finish a good set of tricep push-ups on the stability/BOSU ball!

  8. My favorite exercise with a bosu ball is plank to push-ups to plank with alternating extending arms and alternating extended legs.. Totally challenging but a great workout!

  9. I love to flip the Bosu over and do burpees. I raise it over my head then put it bouncy side down (official term) and shoot my legs out. It makes burpees a great stability excercise.

  10. I love doing ball bridges, push-ups, and crunches on the ball and burpees with and crunches, planks and dead lifts on an upside down bosu.

  11. I’m in the market to buy a stability ball but since I don’t have any experience using one it has been pushed to the bottom of my list! I can’t wait to include a stability ball into my exercise routines.

  12. This is a must for my small apartment. It seems like my stability ball rolls around constantly and basically takes over my tiny home. Need this!

  13. What a great product! My favorite is totally crunches on the ball followed closely by crunches with me on the ground and my legs on the ball!

  14. The fiancé and I are having a serious competition of who can loose more ab flab before our spring vaca…. this could be my secret weapon!!!

  15. My favorite exercise to do with a stability ball is an ab exercise. You lay down on a mat and hold the ball up in the air (above your stomach) with your toes and fingertips. You alternate legs/arms (left leg, right arm) bringing your arm & leg down at the same time & then switch. Your core is always engaged and one arm/leg is always holding up the stability ball. Give it a try 🙂

  16. I have a whole circuit of execises that I do on the ball. I like the idea of the weighted ball so it doesn’t roll all over the house!

  17. I use a stability ball ALL the time! You can do SO many different exercises with one! One of my favorites being pushups.

  18. Weighted lunges and squats all the way! I miss the BOSU! We have a small gym at our apartment complex, but the BOSU is not available 🙁

  19. The ball is a gym on it’s own; abs, obliques, hams, quads, chest and more. It challenges the most fit, allows the unfit to build confidence to become fit, and builds overall body balance. I am hooked on bosu!
