About a month ago, a reporter from the Boston Globe interviewed me about my blog and my book for an upcoming article. The newspaper’s editor really liked the piece and wanted to move forward with it, so they sent a professional photographer to my house for a photo shoot today. This meant that I spent much of the day preparing for it, which included:
Cleaning the house from top to bottom.
(I need to teach Murphy how to put away his toys.)
Displaying fresh flowers.
Blow drying my hair and putting on make-up.
Baking Salted Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies.
And, of course, sampling a couple of them.
(My cookie recipe and a photo will be printed with the article in the Boston Globe.)
In addition to cookies, I also ate leftover flatbread pizza from Foundry for lunch.
Rumor has it that the article will be published in the June 1 issue of the Boston Globe. Keep a look out for it!
