Mastermind Weekend 1/16

Hey there!

I'm Tina

I’m the owner of Carrots ‘N’ Cake as well as a Certified Nutrition Coach and Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner (FDN-P). I use macros and functional nutrition to help women find balance within their diets while achieving their body composition goals.

An in-depth, 4-week reverse dieting course for women who feel like their metabolism has slowed down, think they might have hormonal imbalance and can’t lose weight no matter what they do.

Hooray for blog buddies!!!

Left to right: Kath’s sister, Larbs, KathSabrinaBecca, Camille, Emily, and me with Jess and Ashley in the front.

Our group dined out at Eatery NYC last night.

It was quite a cool place.

Before we ordered dinner, we munched on some Sesame Rice crisps.

I ate a bunch.

For my entree, I ordered the Grilled Marinated Tofu Stir Fry with Kabocha Squash, Shiitake Mushrooms, Snow Peas, Forbidden Black Rice, and Curry Coconut Glaze.

Holy delicious. It tasted so fresh and flavorful. I ate pretty much ate the entire portion.

After dinner, we headed back to the hotel to check out some of the BlogHer parties.

Us bloggers know how to par-tay!

Look who crashed it! Mal posed as Kath’s mom for the night! 😉

The best part of the evening was running into some big-time bloggers: Elise of Simply Recipes, Ree of The Pioneer Woman, and Jaden of Steamy Kitchen. I was star-struck and acted awkward, but it was still so cool to meet them!

Everyone headed to bed, but Mal, my friend, Matt, and I stayed up and had a few drinks in the hotel bar. I drank two glasses of wine and then somehow woke up bright and early this morning to run 6 miles. Who am I!?!

Heading to brunch next!

P.S. I chatted with Pioneer Woman about pugs!! She loves them and owned two in her lifetime.

  1. How cool that you got to meet Ree…. she always seems so sweet and fun to me. I would have loved to be in your shoes but would totally have been starstruck as well.

  2. Looks like so much fun! Those Sesame Rice crisps look really yummy…I think I would have eaten the whole bowl 😉 And love that Mal posed as Kath’s Mom. He is so supportive- just wonderful. Enjoy the rest of the trip
