My brain is fried. I spent all afternoon organizing my paperwork for last year’s taxes, which made me realize being self-employed is not easy– mostly because I have no idea what I am doing. Plus, I didn’t take good records until the mortgage fiasco, so 9 out of the 12 months are totally a mess. Meh. Everything just took way longer than expected.
On a positive note: I made an appointment with an accountant! So, getting all of this information in order now will make things a lot easier down the road. Hopefully, I will also know what the heck I am doing after the meeting!
Snack
While working away, I snacked on two bowls of Kashi Vanilla Island cereal with soy milk and banana slices. I also drank a mug of Winter Dream Tea.
Dinner
While I finished working, Mal cooked us dinner. He made the most monstrous calzone I have ever seen! My gosh, it was a big one! (That’s what she said! 😆 )
Look at this thing!!
We both started cracking up as soon as we opened the oven. I don’t think either of us expected it to grow so large! (That’s what she said! 😆 Sorry, it was just too easy.)
Inside was broccoli, pepperoni, marinara sauce, and extra sharp cheddar cheese. On top, Mal used Garlic Gold nuggets and olive oil. It tasted awesome!
After dinner, I enjoyed a Carrot Cake Larabar, which was tasty, but really didn’t taste like carrot cake at all. Anyone else with me on this one?
BIG game tonight! GO DUCKS!

I don’t think the Larabars taste like what their names say, but they taste awesome in their own way.
