Beer Decisions

Mastermind Weekend 1/16

Hey there!

I'm Tina

I’m the owner of Carrots ‘N’ Cake as well as a Certified Nutrition Coach and Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner (FDN-P). I use macros and functional nutrition to help women find balance within their diets while achieving their body composition goals.

An in-depth, 4-week reverse dieting course for women who feel like their metabolism has slowed down, think they might have hormonal imbalance and can’t lose weight no matter what they do.

I started my evening by enjoying a beer on the sun porch.

Well, one beer turned into two beers.

And then three beers.

And then I agreed to run a 189-mile relay”¦ tomorrow morning.

My team is meeting at 6:00 AM.

Pray for me.

  1. You will have a BLAST!! I did an overnight team relay last year on the Bourbon Trail in Kentucky and it was so much fun. Sure, you don’t sleep much and will probably end up running on the side of the road at 4am wondering what you got yourself into….but I’m sure you’ll come out of it so happy you decided to participate! I hope you have a great time. I thought about trying to get on a team for the Cape Relay after having such a great time at the Bourbon one but it’s quite a hike for me (living outside of Detroit) and I never got my act together. Have fun!!

  2. Whattt? are you running 189 miles? im confused! If so, thats so cool you will be on Cape Cod…i live there!! 🙂

  3. Haha, you’re going to have sooo much fun! I’ve done the Hood 2 Coast relay with my running group a few times here in Oregon and this summer we’re doing a different relay in central Oregon (Cascade Lakes Relay) and each time it’s a new and crazy experience. So much bonding time and random eating. Hang in there!

  4. That’s what happens when people force beer down your throat (just kidding). Hope you have fun and it goes well. How far are you running?

  5. i LOVE that you did this. i predict you turn into a relay addict by the time the 189 miles is up. good luck and have so much fun!

  6. You’re going to have so much fun!!!

I just did the SoCal Ragnar Relay last month with coworkers (we were 2nd in our division) and it was the most fun I’ve had being miserable ever.

And I got to meet Tara from the Biggest Loser at the finish.

Take lots of pics! Don’t expect to sleep!

  7. Wow! My drunk thoughts never have lead to a long-distance relay! A few of my friends recently completed one on the road to Hana in Maui (we live on Oahu). They had a blast and I’m sure yours will be amazing! I’m almost thinking about drinking some beer tonight and signing up for that road to Hana relay! You’ve inspired me! 🙂 Have a great time!!!!

  8. no big deal…. beer = carbs…. you’ve just carb loaded, that’s all!!! The relay sounds awesome!! Have a great time!
