It’s time for another “day in the life” via timestamps! I hope you guys enjoy these blog posts because I think they’re really fun to write, and it’s a nice way to remember our “regular” days as a family. Let me know what you guys think!
7:15 AM: Breakfast in the living room with Quinn (and Murphy). On the menu: Banana oats mixed with Nuzest smooth vanilla protein powder, cinnamon, and almond butter. Delish! To drink, I had vanilla nut Teeccino mixed with collagen and some Nutpods. Teccino is an “herbal coffee alternative” that a reader emailed me about it, and I’m seriously loving it! It’s made from organic carob, organic barley, organic chicory, dates, almonds, organic figs, natural vanilla extract, and natural vanilla nut flavor. It comes in tea bags, but I was told the bagged grinds were the way to go. You just brew it like regular coffee! (I brew it and then put it in the fridge overnight.)
8:50 AM: Summer camp drop-off.
10:24 AM: We stopped by Pressed for a quick snack (for me) and iced coffee (for Mal). (Apparently, my oatmeal didn’t hold me over as long as expected.) I got an orange coconut ball, which was incredible!
10:44 AM: Meeting time! Mal and I met with our financial advisor for 2+ hours. It was meeting 2 of 3, so we still have some more items to wrap up, but I learned that I need more life insurance as well as disability insurance. Of course, having both are important for everyone, but with all of my UC stuff, I realize it’s very important for me to have coverage if anything were to happen.
12:55 PM: We’re free! And starving! FYI: My sunglasses are from Kohv. Check back tomorrow for a SWEET giveaway!
2:23 PM: Lunch at Burton’s at the Derby Street Shops. I went with a chicken sandwich on a gluten-free bun with sweet potato fries. I ate half and took the rest home for later.
4:06 PM: We picked up Quinn early from camp and then popped home to grab Murphy for some afternoon adventures!
5:29 PM: Our first stop was the dog park followed by ice cream at Nona’s Homemade in Hingham Center. Even Murphy enjoyed a cold treat – it was beef broth-flavored! 🙂
I had a few bites of Mal’s ice cream (mint M&M) only because I’ve been dealing with some flare symptoms. Things are starting to improve (*knock on wood*), so I didn’t want to push my luck with too much dairy.
6:48 PM: Mal and I divided an conquered bath time for our tiny human and stinky dog. Then, we ate dinner as a family. I reheated my leftovers from lunch.
8:41 PM: I give Murphy some CBD + peanut butter on a spoon. I give him (human) CBD a few times a week to help with his old pug hips. I like to think it’s helping! I also ate 2 Justin’s mini peanut butter cups before bed! 🙂
The end.
