I’m not sure what Mal and I were more bummed about this morning: our vacation ending or the red eye flight back to Boston. We both tried to sleep on the plane, but it just didn’t happen. No matter what I tried, I couldn’t get comfortable.

When we landed at Logan, Mal and I then had to navigate our way home via public transportation (bus to train to taxi), which wasn’t nearly as fun as sitting by the pool at The Wynn. Even still, I’m glad to be home. I love vacation, but I was ready to get back to my ”˜normal’ life.

At South Station, Mal and I had about 45 minutes to kill before our train home, so we grabbed a quick breakfast. I went with oatmeal from Cosi; Mal opted for McDonald’s.

The Cosi oatmeal was surprisingly awesome. I actually like it better than Starbucks oatmeal. The consistency is thicker and heartier, and I liked being able to pick my toppings. I added pistachios, granola, and dried cranberries.

Despite the exhausting travels home, I found the May issue of People StyleWatchwith the one-page article about my book! It’s so cool!!!!

Feel Great Weight

Last week, I received this email from a reader:

Hi Tina,
Hope you are well! I have a question/potential blog topic for you. I have noticed that the more progress I see in my body due to workouts and diets, the more likely I am to slack off or allow myself more food. Maybe this is human nature? Do you struggle with this and do you have any tips on how to combat it?

Check out my response over on the FGW blog: 4 Ways to Stop Slacking Off on Your Diet

Question of the Day

One of my goals for the day is to clean up my Google Reader. For months, it’s been at 1000+ items, so I really want to streamline the blogs that I read as well as add some new ones to my list. I know a lot of you guys like to learn about new blogs as well, so please feel free to share your favorites!

Which blog(s) do you absolutely have to read every day?

P.S. Stay tuned for my recaps from Vegas!
