Let’s start this morning with some pretty flowers! I’m happy that this bouquet has held up so well since last Saturday. The flowers look as fresh as they day we bought them! 😀 Aren’t fresh flowers just the best? They instantly improve my mood!
Ok, now I need to complain about my stupid alarm clock. 👿
Last night, I got all packed up to go to an early morning Body Defined class at Healthworks. It actually takes me a little while to organize my things for the next morning. I need to lay out my gym clothes in the living room (so I don’t wake Mal), plan my outfit for the next day (complete with accessories, shoes, and make-up), pack my breakfast and lunch as well as all of my blogging “equipment” (computer, camera, camera chord, etc.) and usual my wallet, phone, planner, iPod necessities. As you might expect, all of this coordination takes some diligent planning and time on my part.
So, obviously, I was bummed when my alarm clock didn’t go off at 5:05 this morning! Grrr! I woke up about an hour later when Mal’s alarm clock went off at 6:00, but it was much too late to make the class on time. Oh well. I probably needed the extra sleep– and now I’m all packed up for the gym tomorrow morning! 😀 I guess it’s not all bad!
For those of you who exercise at the gym in the morning, do you have any tips for “streamlining” my packing and organization? Do I just have too much stuff?
Onto breakfast…
This morning’s breakfast was a bowl of juicy watermelon chucks…
and oatmeal mixed with wheat bran, hemp protein, and vanilla hemp milk with 2 scoops of Barney Butter. I also had a glass of iced coffee with milk and agave nectar.
