A Warm Welcome

Mastermind Weekend 1/16

Hey there!

I'm Tina

I’m the owner of Carrots ‘N’ Cake as well as a Certified Nutrition Coach and Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner (FDN-P). I use macros and functional nutrition to help women find balance within their diets while achieving their body composition goals.

An in-depth, 4-week reverse dieting course for women who feel like their metabolism has slowed down, think they might have hormonal imbalance and can’t lose weight no matter what they do.

Seriously, how is this my job!?! Right now, I feel like the luckiest gal alive! The event hasn’t even begun, but I’m already have a fantastic time.

When I arrived in Orlando, I was absolutely starving. Lunch just did not cut it today. I almost stopped at Starbucks to buy myself a snack, but I’m so glad that I waited. When I walked into my hotel room at the Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek, I was greeted with a delicious spread of cheese, crackers, prosciutto, fresh fruit, and chocolates.

It was such a pretty display!

I’m pretty much devoured the whole plate in a matter of minutes. It’ll definitely hold me over until dinner tonight. 😉

As you probably know, I LOVE hotels… in a weird way. Here’s my room!

I’m also sort of obsessed with hotel bath products (as you will see on Trading Up Downtown on Monday morning).

The hotel itself is really funky and modern. I can’t wait to explore it more over the next couple of days. The Fitness Center looks pretty sweet, too!

And, the best part about the hotel: a 10,000 square foot pool deck! Oh, yes!

It even has a water slide!

I can’t wait to enjoy it!

I’m actually debating putting on my bathing suit right now and heading outside for a little bit. I didn’t put on a bathing suit once last year (because of crappy weather), so this might take some courage! 😉

I’m having dinner with the Walt Disney chefs tonight! Can’t wait! 😀

  1. What an amazing welcome!!! it looks so pretty and must have taken someone ages to lay it all out. I hope you have a great time in Florida and I’m SOOOOO jealous of your job!!

  2. WOW @ that pool!I could’ve used one of them in my backgarden today…
I have a thing for hotels – I like the room service, and the fact that you can leave the room messy, and come back to it super clean again 😛

  3. What hotel is it? My husband and I are planning a vacation to Orlando next year and I would love to check out the rates for that hotel. It looks gorgeous. Enjoy your mini-vacation and the bake off!

  4. Love the spread. I’m guessing they knew who they were working with and couldn’t resist the opportunity to greet you with some fabulous goodies. I love hotels too. ALways nice when they are surprisingly modern, friendly and clean!

  5. How awesome! I’ll definitely be rooting for the five MN women competing in the bakeoff, gotta support the home state. Have a great time!!! 🙂

  6. Wow, looks awesome! You’re so lucky to get to go to Disney World AND the Pillsbury Bake-Off! Next year, you should enter it! Your recipes are all delicious. 😀

  7. Seriously, who ARE you with these fancy trips?! 🙂 Hope you have a great time…don’t forget the sunscreen!

  8. Sounds like a fabulous day. That hotel looks amazing and the snack spread must have been such a treat. I love getting pampered/spoiled on vacation 🙂 Can’t wait to hear about your dinner tonight. It sounds like fun!

  9. I love hotels too – it was always so lovely when I treated myself to hotel stays during the last four months of travelling, as mostly I was at hostels! Wish someone else had paid for mine though 😛 And that I had lovely carved fruit awaiting me upon arrival!
