A Little Preview

Mastermind Weekend 1/16

Hey there!

I'm Tina

I’m the owner of Carrots β€˜N’ Cake as well as a Certified Nutrition Coach and Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner (FDN-P). I use macros and functional nutrition to help women find balance within their diets while achieving their body composition goals.

An in-depth, 4-week reverse dieting course for women who feel like their metabolism has slowed down, think they might have hormonal imbalance and can’t lose weight no matter what they do.

Holy cow! 😯 Where did today go!?! It seemed to whiz right by. I feel like I just woke up to start my day, but now I’m thinking about going to bed. Major time warp, dude.

Mal was nice enough to cook dinner for us tonight. He made chicken salad with red grapes, celery, walnuts, and mayo in the mix.

He ate his chicken salad as a sandwich on whole wheat bread, but I put mine on top of an arugula salad.

Chicken salad salad.

I’m seriously considering a donut for dessert. I swear, they’re calling my name from the pantry! πŸ˜‰

Blog Bake Sale Preview

If you missed my previous post about my Blog Bake Sale to raise money for Team In Training, you can read all about it here.

The Blog Bake Sale will be held next Tuesday, September 14. I hope you’re ready for it! There will be LOTS of delicious goodies to bid on! Here’s just a little preview:

If you’d like to contribute something to the Blog Bake Sale, please send me an email at tina@carrotsncake.com with your name, the baked good(s) that you would like to donate, a short description of it, and a photo and/or link to its deliciousness by next Sunday, September 12. You don’t need to be a blogger to participate. All baked goods are welcomed!

  1. I wish I could bake so that I could contribute, but I think I might actually turn people away from the sale with my horrendous baking skills! πŸ™ Oh well, I’ll just have to participate in the bidding and reap others wonderful talents. πŸ™‚

  2. Hi Tina!
This is my first time commenting on your blog, however, I read it every single day!
You are such an inspiration that I’ve started my own blog (and added you to my blog roll!).
I am recovering from an eating disorder and I admire your healthy balance of eating and exercising each day.
Thanks for being such a positive influence! Check out my brand new blog! I hope to become as experienced as you someday.

  3. I tend to be a savory food person and not big into dessert but the pictures of the baked goodies are making my mouth water. Yummy. Good luck with the bake sale!

  4. Reading about your chicken salad salad reminded me of a two-hour conversation I had with my brother-in-law last week about how to distinguish between a chicken salad (meaning a salad with chicken) versus a chicken salad (with mayo, etc.). We entertained ourselves by coming up with all kinds of annunciations. Anyway, random thought! The chicken salad salad looks delish!

  5. ahhh. everytime i see pictures of your food, i want to start cooking myself!! i am 100% baker, 0% cook. but your concoctions are slowly making me reevaluate more than a few things!

  6. I just wanted to let you know that I incorporated your mini body pump routine into my workout today. I did a set before and a set after a 20 minute run/walk. Thanks so much for posting it today! I’m definitely feeling it in my arms right now πŸ˜‰

  7. grapes and chicken is so good! i remember maknig a similar salad wayyy back but i should have made it creamy- that would have tasted so much better! those cookies better get a good bid, they look SO YUMMY- probably gonna be the first thing sold πŸ˜›

  8. I don’t know what the last dessert is, but all I know is it looks like cookies and cream balls of deliciousness and I want them!
