GAH! Look what happened overnight!
Ok, fresh snow is kind of pretty, but I could have honestly gone all winter without it. Now, I’m patiently waiting for it to melt. Come on high of 47 degrees! Work your magic! (Man, I am such a snow hater!)
Breakfast
I love “Oatmeal” Minus the Oats! It’s my new favorite breakfast. I also added fresh blackberries and two scoops of peanut butter to the mix. So satisfying, so delicious!
Feel Great Weight
CrossFit is the hot new workout right now, and like many other health and fitness enthusiasts, I wanted to see what it was all about. So, about a month ago I took my first CrossFit class””I loved it almost immediately. Here’s why it’s my “feel great” workout: A Feel Great Workout: CrossFit. (Running, of course, is a close second for me!)
What’s your “feel great” workout? You know, the one you can always count on to improve your mood and boost your spirits?
P.S. South Shore folks: I just heard PinkBerry at the South Shore Plaza is giving away FREE yogurt tonight from 6 – 9 PM!

Eww! you can keep the snow there!! i can’t believe we still have green grass here in southern Ontario with temps above 0 (celcius)! i’m LOVING it!!! .. i probably just jinxed things now.. 😉
It is so strange to see that snow when we are in the midst of Summer here!!
I would love to see snow! I hate it in Florida when it gets FREEEEEEEEZING cold but the conditions arent quite right for snow- all the suffering with none of the beauty!
BRRR!!! Yoga always clears my mind and makes me feel strong.
what? you had snow? i didn’t see that coming. I’m dreading the next major storm in nyc. Can you believe the last one was on Oct 29 of all the months.
i dying for snow here in nj!
I really need to try these no-oat oats when I get back to school next week!
Zumba is the definition of feel great!
My go to feel great workout is walking. It is so simple but I love doing it so much and I know it will always put me in a good mood!
I only just recently discovered it, but Spin has got to be my feel great workout. I feel like such a tough girl when I finish. 🙂
If you don’t mind sharing, how much are you paying for Crossfit? I looked into it locally and it’s $100 for the intro session and $150 a month for classes. Is that in the ballpark? Thanks.
Gah!! I wish I had seen this earlier tonight so I could have hit up Pinkberry. Original with mango and blueberries? Yes, please!
My feel great workout is typically distance running, but lately I’m really into barre classes because it’s such a shift from long mileage. Plus, it’s nice to feel like I can put in a solid 1 hour and feel wiped instead of needing a 2 hour long run. For barre I am loving the Secret Physique studio on the South Shore. You should come!
I am slightly jealous of the snow. Truth be told, a snow day would be nice 😉 Your breakfast looks delicious!
Hiking in the woods with the poodle is my happy place
You might think this is silly, but I really do miss the snow. I really got into snowshoeing and skiing last winter during a trip to Vermont, and now (in NY), there’s not a flake to be found.
If you don’t want it, wish it this way 🙂
While I wouldn’t say I LOVE running, it is the what I do when I want to really feel like I accomplished something. Nothing feels better than telling someone “I ran — miles today” and have them go “WHOA! That is awesome!”
I have eaten the no-oats oatmeal the last two mornings and LOVE it! Thanks for sharing the recipe. My feel great workout is going for an undefined run, no watch, no route mapped out, no miles to achieve, just run until I feel great.
I want to try Crossfit now! 🙂 I typically workout at home because I am away from most gyms. I love lifting weights and TurboFire for my cardio. The high intensity intervals are my favorite since they burn a ton of calories.
Hot yoga…by far! Something about it is so incredibly euphoric 🙂
Taebox (cardio kickboxing) is without a doubt my favorite feel good workout.
Tina! OMG, thanks so much for the oatless oats. I tried them this morning and they are A-freaking-mazing! I’ve been doing Paleo for about a month now and my morning oatmeal was the one thing I really missed. This makes up for it completely! Love!
