I can’t believe it’s Thursday already. This week is flying by! I LOVE IT! :mrgreen:

Lunch

Today’s lunch included a bunch of my favorite foods. I started with a homemade salad with Roasted Broccoli on top. I also added a little balsamic vinegar to the mix. I only use a tiny drizzle when I take my lunch to go. I’ve had one too many accidents with balsamic vinegar spilling all over my bag! 😕

Lunch also included a Siggi’s yogurt + a big ol’ Gala apple.

And a mini coconut Larabar. Lunch was delicious all around! :mrgreen:

I love when lunch has a little of this and a little of that in it. All of the different colors, tastes, and textures add so much to the meal. I always find that I am much more satisfied after a meal like this instead of a more “one-dimensional” meal, like a bowl of soup or plate of pasta.

Lose the Dough

Sorry that I haven’t written much about my Lose the Dough challenge lately. I’m still keeping it in mind when making decisions about what to eat and how much to exercise. I’m just not letting it consume my life, ya know?

Anyway, I’m having my April check-in tomorrow! I have no idea how this past month went (not terrible, not awesome either), but be sure to check back tomorrow.

  • The trait that I love most about myself is: My sense of humor. I pretty much laugh at everything.
  • My favorite website is: RealSimple.com (and PerezHilton.com 😉 )
  • In 10 years, I’ll be: Living in a house that I own (not rent).
  • When it comes to eating, I say: Cupcakes make everything better!
  • My favorite meal is: French bread, stinky cheese, and white wine. Holy delicious!

I have a zillion errands to do after work, and then I am having dinner with my cousin, who is visiting from New Mexico. I’m excited to see her! 😀

    favorite meal: mexican food- sans rice and beans…or chinese chicken salad. love that stuff.
