Hi, guys! Happy Hump Day!

I can’t believe it’s already 3:30 pm – today has totally flown by. Mal and I went to New Hampshire and back, which included nearly 4 hours in the car. Oy. At least we had some quality time together, right?

The morning also flew by, so breakfast was grab-and-go: Cashew Collagen Balls x 3 + iced coffee with vanilla Ripple.

It was “Dress Up Day” at school, so Quinn wore his eagle costume. Remember it from a few years ago? He was so tiny!

After we dropped Quinn at school, we battled traffic for what seemed liked forever before arriving at the office of our financial advisor, CPA, and life insurance officers. We made back-to-back appointments will all of them. We ended up being in meetings all morning and into the early afternoon, so it’s a good thing I had a Atlas Bar to snack on before we headed in.

After our meetings, we battled more traffic. By then, I desperately needed a “real” meal, so I was pumped to visit Del Frisco’s Grille for lunch. Mal and I went for an influencer event when it first opened and had a great time, so we were excited to dine there again. Wine? Wine not!

Unfortunately, the Kale & Brussels Sprout Salad with salmon that I ordered was less than stellar. The piece of salmon was tiny, a bit under-cooked (even though I asked for it well-done), and there wasn’t any Manchego cheese on top, which I was very much looking forward to. I debated sending it back to the kitchen, but we needed to get home to walk Murphy and pick up Quinn from school, so I just ate it. It wasn’t terrible by any means, but it was still a bit of a bummer, especially for $24!

Question of the Day

When dining out, if your food isn’t quite right, do you send it back or just deal?
