Good morning, friends! Happy Monday to you!

As you guys probably remember, I love a good weekend High Low High blog post. They’re one of my favorite to write since they share both the high and low highlights from it. I always like to focus on the positive side of things, so there’s typically more highs than lows! 🙂

With that, here’s how our weekend and Father’s Day went. And, of course, I’d love to hear about your weekend too, so feel free to share some highs and lows in the comment section below!

HIGH: Trying leek chips for the first time! I had a few drinks on Friday night (loving that spicy margarita mix with tequila and lime-flavored seltzer!) and wanted something salty to eat, but I didn’t want to blow up my macros (more than I already had), so I opted for this healthy snack. It was the perfect healthy drunk munchy! 🙂

The recipe is from Mollie Katzen‘s “The Vegetables I Can’t Live Without.” It’s one of my favorite cookbooks – and not just because I met her. It really does have awesome (and simple) veggie recipes inside!

HIGH: Saturday partner workout at Salt Shack! I teamed up with my friend Marisa, and it was a sweaty, long workout for sure! So many wallballs!

LOW: Quinn getting stung TWICE by a bee right below his eye. It was so scary at first because Mal and I didn’t know what happened – and then realizing one of the stings was right on his lower eyelid. We got ice and a baking soda paste on it immediately, so thankfully it didn’t swell up to much. The poor kid, but he took it like a champ!

HIGH: Meeting up for dinner and drinks with (new and old) friends before the Zac Brown Band concert. We went to Audobon and sat outside. The food was delicious and the company and conversation were awesome!

HIGH: Zac Brown Band at Fenway! Holy cow, I had THE BEST TIME!!!

LOW: Getting home late after the concert and waking up 4 hours later with our tiny human. #parentlife

HIGH: Spending Father’s Day morning at Duxbury Beach! It was the perfect beach day!

HIGH: Taking Quinn’s new scooter out for a spin on an afternoon family walk around the neighborhood.

HIGH: Setting up our new patio table and enjoying a special Father’s Day dinner on our deck. We bought some seriously delicious marinated steak tips. Mmm!

HIGH: Giving Dada all sorts of gifts for Father’s Day! I gave him the Tommy John goodies that I mentioned in a previous blog post, and Quinn gave him a pencil holder for his classroom at school.

HIGH: Ending Father’s Day with a VERY enthusiastic hug!
