Yesterday was all about the ladies: Women’s Half Marathon, Happy Hour with Theodora, and dinner with some of my favorite blogging ladies.
Theodora had some errands to run yesterday afternoon, so, in her travels, she stopped by my hotel for a glass of wine. We hung out for about an hour, and then she was on her way to pick up groceries for dinner at her apartment later that evening.
A few hours later, I met Theodora, Ali, and Gabriela for dinner at Theodora’s funky New York City apartment. I loved the city views!!! It made me miss city living.
We started with cheese, crackers, and crusty bread. Of course, I helped myself to a few pieces. Cheese + carbs = heaven.
For dinner, Theodora cooked pasta with turkey sausage and spinach.
And Gabriela brought a spinach salad with walnuts and strawberries, tossed in a strawberry-flavored Annie’s dressing.
Mmmmm! I only ate bagels yesterday, so I was super excited about dinner!
For dessert, we enjoyed a couple of mini cupcakes. I love frosting.
Last night’s dinner and company were wonderful, but, really, Bailey was the star of the evening.

I already miss my NYC friends. I’m heading back to Boston later this morning.
